Jeszcze na studiach miałyśmy w zwyczaju „celebrować dzień, w którym szłyśmy na koncert”. Spędzałyśmy go wtedy, odbijając się od knajp, chodząc po muzeach czy innych miejscach i zwieńczającym wydarzeniem był koncert. Udało nam się odtworzyć taki dzień i przypomniało mi się, jak inaczej się czuję kiedy od rana „celebruje”. Dzień był totalnie zwyczajny, bez urodzin, imienin czy innej specjalnej okazji. Stał się nadzwyczajnym dniem, bo był dniem koncertowym. Stąd rozkmina, a co gdyby celebrować tak każdy dzień? Gdyby od rana, już na śniadaniu cieszyć się na jakąś małą rzecz w ciągu dnia? Często w gabinecie zalecam odpoczynek, nic nie robienie, bo odpoczynek dla pędzącego umysłu jest kluczowy do regeneracji ciała. I tak się zastanawiam, czy masz w ogóle przestrzeń, żeby cieszyć się z chociażby jedzenia śniadania rano? Jakoś łatwo wpadamy w wir obowiązków nie doceniając małych cudów, które dzieją się przecież w każdej minucie. Ten dzień był dla mnie tak wyjątkowy, że wprowadziłam elementy celebracji w każdy dzień! (Nie było to szczególnie trudne bo lubię chodzić do swojej pracy). W każdym dniu znajduję małą rzecz, z której się cieszę; pełny grafik, kubek kawy przed pracą, spotkanie z bliskim, słuchanie ulubionej muzyki, jedzenie odżywczego i smacznego jedzenia. 10 minut świadomego doceniania tego co mam. Zupełnie inna perspektywa niż mam dzisiaj 8 pacjentów i nie mogę tego czy tamtego. Na story wrzucałam pytanie „za co jesteś wdzięczny/a?” i pięknie odpowiadaliście <3 Zapraszam do codziennej, 10-cio minutowej celebracji rzeczywistości. W myśl zasady, że to na co zwracasz uwagę rośnie, warto zwracać uwagę na pozytywne rzeczy, które nas otaczają, w opozycji do narracji świata. Za co Ty jesteś wdzięczny? Co może być małą celebracją a traktujesz to zwyczajnie? Amazing BID Networking meeting at Cheltenham Martial Arts Academy today! It was fantastic to connect with local businesses, engage in meaningful conversations, and learn more about each other's offerings. We had the opportunity to showcase our services, give guests a tour of the academy, and demonstrate practical self-defense techniques. Angg, our holistic wellbeing coach, delivered a talk exploring the connection between physical health, mental health, and overall wellbeing. She discussed how tools like meditation can help people learn to self-regulate, achieve balance, and feel empowered. This is something we're proud to offer alongside martial arts, fitness kickboxing, and personal development. Oof… this one is super vulnerable…. A few months ago a picture of me got snapped and it snapped my brain into a downward spiral…. I didn’t realize how much weight I had gained until I saw it reflected in the photo. I was in Cosmo school full time (and let’s be real, if you know you know…), owning my own business working all other waking hours of the day and just trying to make it hour by hour… Fast forward to now… this pic was snapped super recently. My arms are inside my bibs… INSIDE my bibs. Before these bibs were TIGHT just wearing them normally. Just goes to show, keep your head down and get your mind right. I am not the scale type of tracker, just go off how I feel and I’ve been feeling so much better. Physically and mentally. I did take my weight the first day I said enough is enough though just to know where I started. Just for giggles, I stepped on the scale and realized 52 Lbs is gone. 52 POUNDS 👀 GONE. healthy habits are the FOUNDATION of every single thing that you do, they’re going to be the things that not only get you a result, but also help you maintain that result, whatever that may be. They’re going to be the things that allow you to LIVE your life, with balance, to the fullest! whatever journey you’re on, whatever goal you have, if you have healthy habits to begin with, that journey will be SO much easier, and so much more attainable💗 if you want to lose fat, generally we look at dropping calories, increasing movement, improving sleep, improving stress management, drinking more etc etc, now all of that change at once would be pretty overwhelming.. but now imagine you’re already doing all of these things, you already have the foundations there, and all you have to do is build on them, imagine how much easier your journey would be! whatever your goal, the same rules apply, if you have the foundations, everything gets SO much easier🔥 here are the daily habits that I think everybody should aim to complete, not for any reason other than looking after themselves, and building those foundations for whatever else you decide to do..🫶🏼

We can’t hide from consumption. But we can make the impact and our influence include more conscious intent. It’s the difference between take and hoard —> GIVE + RECEIVE. It’s an intimacy we cultivate, just as we can give and receive our breath. How intimate is it to receive another being. Calling it home into your body. Tom prigodom organiziran je okrugli stol naziva “Nastava TZK na visokim učilištima - Izazovi i percepcije”. Sudionici okruglog stola bili su rektor Sveučilišta u Zagrebu, prof. dr. sc. Stjepan Lakušić, dekan Kineziološkog fakulteta, prof. dr. sc. Mario Baić, prof. dr. sc. Sanja Musić Milanović pri HZJZ i Svjetskoj zdravstvenoj organizaciji, doc. dr.sc. Marinko Artuković pri HZJZ, prof. dr. sc. Josip Burušić, posebni savjetnik ministra MZO, dr.sc. Martina Jeričević, načelnica sektora pri Upravi za sport u Ministarstvu turizma i sporta te Kristina Singer, zamjenica pročelnika Gradskog ureda za obrazovanje, sport i mlade. Idućeg dana na Jarunu obilježen je Dan nastave TZK i Međunarodni dan tjelesne aktivnosti. Studenti s raznih fakulteta imali su priliku sudjelovali u brojnim sportskim aktivnostima. 🌙Move, stretch, breathe…a pre bedtime routine to manage pain in pregnancy. Pelvic and low back pain are common in pregnancy but there’s lots that can be done to minimise and manage your symptoms. One of the big things I talk about with my clients is how to optimise on your sleep because it can have such an impact on pain levels if your sleep is poor or disrupted (and let’s face it, turning over in bed with an extra human growing inside you is not easy!) My top tip is to create a good bedtime routine for trying to make the nights as comfortable as possible. 🌙Give yourself 10 minutes before you get into bed and get into a 4 point kneeling position either by the side of your bed or on it 🌙Move…from that kneeling position slowly move through your spine; rounding and arching like a cat. Repeat 8-10 times or whatever amount feels good! 🌙Stretch…from that kneeling position, widen your knees and bring your big toes towards each other, sit your bottom back towards your heels and keep your arms stretched out (place a pillow under your bump for comfort), really try and relax into this position and it will allow a stretch through the spine, pelvis & hips. 🌙Breathe…in the above position start to deepen your breathing. Think about relaxing your jaw and your pelvic floor and then breathe wide into the sides of your body. Have you tried this?
