Let’s face it, jumping is an activity that we tend to do less of as we move into different stages of life. I've put on 10 pounds since September! Now, for many, that might sound like a reason to panic, right? But here's the thing – out of those 10 pounds: - 8.47 pounds are pure muscle mass, meaning my muscles are growing stronger. - 2.7 pounds are skeletal mass, indicating my bones are getting denser and healthier. So, in essence, I'm getting stronger and more resilient! Since taking charge of my health again in October 2022, here's what I've achieved: - I've shed 28 pounds; admittedly, before September, it was 38 pounds, but some of it was muscle mass that I'm now rebuilding. - Out of the total fat loss of 20.2 pounds: - 16.7 pounds are subcutaneous fat, the type that lies just beneath the skin. - 3.5 pounds are visceral fat, the more dangerous kind that surrounds our organs.
