When kundalini shakti reaches sahasrara, that is known as union between Shiva & Shakti, as sahasrara is said to be abode of higher consciousness or Shiva. The union marks the beginning of great experience, the moment of self-realization or samadhi begins. At this point the individual self dies; it is the death of mundane awareness or individual awareness. It is death of the experience of name & form. At this time you don’t remember the ‘I’, the ‘you’, the ‘they’. The experience, the experienced and the experienced are one the same. The seer, seeing & seen are merged as a unified whole. There is no multiple or dual awareness remaining. There’s only single awareness, nothing remains, there’s absolute silence. Shakti doesn’t remain Shakti & Shiva is no more Shiva, both are mingled into one & they can’t longer identified as 2 different sources. Every mystical & religious systems of the world has its own way of describing this experience. Some called it nirvana, others samadhi, kaivalya, self-realization, enlightenment, communion, heaven, etc. If you read the religious and mystical poems & scriptures of the many cultures & traditions, you will find ample descriptions of sahasrara. Am I too old to do that? Is it too late for me? I was listening to Mary Morrissey tell a story about a 76 year old woman who had never made her own money. She relied on her husband all her life and he recently transitioned. It was at this age she first came across Universal Laws and the power of the mind and became intrigued to learn more. But this inside voice said to her, ‘It’s too late... you are too old.’ Instead of listening to this voice, she questioned, ‘What if I’m not?’ She began an empowering journey of study into the power of the subconscious mind. She realised her environment was not conducive to these new ideas. Elderly people were being taken out in stretchers all the time where she lived. She thought, ‘This is not the way I want to live my life - I’ve got a life to LIVE!’ She moved out, got her own place and started her first business. Within 7 months she started making her first $50K. This is such a powerful example of how it is never too late. The Universal mind knows NOTHING of age. It will continue to SUPPLY us with new ideas, life giving ENERGY, the more we summon it. It will accept what we feed it. It will grow the thoughts that we nurture. We have access to life giving source till our last breath in this lifetime. It’s only our THINKING that makes us ‘old’. We must be interested in life, for more life to be supplied to us. When most women think of balanced eating they think of clean eating. They think that it is only eating foods they have labeled as “good”. But in reality, having balance means an even distribution of weight. Picture a balance scale. On one side of the scale you have restrictive diets plans, all or nothing thinking, and food rules that require you to have self control. This is where you eat “clean” and avoid food that you have labeled as “bad”. On the other side of the scale is where you choose to say “ to heck with food rules, I am going to eat whatever I want”. This often leaves you having little regard for the nutritional needs of your body, and never saying no to foods you have previously labeled as “bad”. When you think about balance, most often we end up spending time on each side of the scale. Cycling between “good” and “bad”. This is where the all or nothing mentality can arise. You tell yourself you have been good all week, so you deserve to eat whatever you want all weekend. Or you tell yourself you have already blown it by eating the chocolate cake at a staff birthday party so you may as well just keep going and spend the day overindulging. Or the other way around, you tell yourself you have had a bad week and you will get back on track and eat clean next week. But that's not a balanced diet. That is moving from one side of the scale to the other.
