3️⃣ JUST 3 WEEKS 3️⃣ 🗓️ Sometimes all you need to do is make a few adjustments to your everyday routine 📊 🏋️This client has been training with me for a couple of years, her strength and endurance is improving but her body wasn’t changing aesthetically 👙 ☀️Having a summer holiday booked was the motivation she needed to ask for additional help 🆘 💪🏼We kept the training the same but I added one day of LISS cardio and designed her a 5 day meal plan adhering to her personal macros 📝 🍝🍗 I kept her carbohydrates and protein high to enable her body to fuel itself correctly….. HOW❓ 🍝Carbohydrates are stored in our bodies as glycogen which is then turned into glucose. Our muscles use this to help delay fatigue and keep you going for longer ⌚️ 🍗Protein is the building block for increasing muscle mass! It also aids muscle repair after a workout and keeps you fuller for longer 🏃‍♀️ 💦I increased her water intake, made sure her steps were a minimum of 12k daily and BOOM 💥 We are half a stone down and 4cm off of the waist alone. Vor ein paar Wochen habe ich mal gefragt, was ich noch so für Beiträge teilen könnte, dabei kam die Frage nach den verschiedenen Trainingsblöcken und ihrem Nutzen auf: Hypertrophie: Hypertrophie ist eine Trainingsphase, die auf den Muskelaufbau abzielt. Der Schwerpunkt dieses Trainings liegt auf der Erhöhung des Gesamtvolumens des Trainings im Laufe der Zeit, daher die zunehmende Anzahl von Sätzen. Hier werden auch mehr Varianten von Übungen genutzt. Stärke: Stärkeblöcke zielen darauf ab, die Kraftproduktion deines Muskel- und Nervensystems zu verbessern. Um dies zu erreichen, wird die Intensität und das Gewicht erhöht. Peaking: Dies ist die letzte Vorbereitung vor einem Wettkampf. Die Ziele sind es, technisches Können zu entwickeln, die Fähigkeiten für einen 1 Rep Max zu verfeinern und das Fitness-/Ermüdungsverhältnis zu managen. Deload: Ein Deload ist eine Zeit mit reduzierter Intensität und Volumen, um Ermüdung zu reduzierenen. Es ist ein wichtiger Teil, um gesund zu bleiben und langfristig erfolgreich zu sein. Taper: Ähnlich wie ein Deload, ist ein Taper eine Phase mit reduzierter Intensität und Volumen, die in einen Wettkampf führt. Nordics don’t prevent hamstring strains. Nordics are cool. A well organised sprint program is WAY cooler. Here’s 3-tips to reduce your risk of hamstring injuries (in order of importance): 1. Can I please have the figure back that I had in the first two slides?! I have 4 weeks until my holiday and I would rather like to like to look like this again.... however I know that is unlikely!! 🤣🤣 picture 3 and 4 is my current status. In the first two pictures I was training in the gym 2 - 3 times a week, doing two bootcamp sessions and an advanced functional session. The difference this year is that I am only doing 1 bootcamp, one advanced functional and 3 runs a week alongside the odd gym session. The past two years I have definitely learned that the key to being toned and looking strong is definitely more strength training!! I find the gym boring but I know it's necessary... so back to it I go!! Really need to get back into the routine of going to the gym and getting in my strength training!
