“Leg Definition/ Toned Legs” IS MUSCLE GROWTH!! These are unedited pictures are 2.5 years apart. The one on the right is where I am at currently. To be able to see more muscle definition in my legs is a huge thing for me because I was always so focused on getting smaller and looking toned, but I didn’t actually know what toned was. The idea of seeing toned arms/legs is not a new pursuit but there is a lot of noise out there on how to actually achieve it. Eat more food, eat your protein in grams per pound of bodyweight, and train hard! 🖤 My biggest hurdle with gaining muscle has been hitting my protein goal. I can train all day lifting heavy for strength or utilizing isolation and volume for hypertrophy but the mental/ and physical struggle of eating that much protein was insane. I was overtraining my body and not fueling it to do what I wanted it to do. Today I am now hitting my protein goal with raw food with primarily meat protein sources. This may seem like an insignificant achievement to some but to me it’s exponential and I know it is probably important to others that have been in a similar situation. Transparency is really important to me especially sharing my fitness journey with other lifters, athletes, those interested in fitness, and most importantly young girls, women, and new mommas. As a new mom a few years ago I saw so much fitness content on social media that was unrealistic and even harmful. I just wanted a simple answer to the complex problem of changing what my body looked like. Today I wish I would have known what I know now about taking it back to the basics; being active everyday , lifting heavy weights, eating to nourish my body and grow muscles, and remembering that small subtle changes every single day will grow into big changes over time. #getfit #musclebuilding #fitnessgirl #healthylifestyle #transformation #gymlife #gym #gymmotivation #gymgirl #fyp #workout
