Le 23 mars 2024, « SL Hitoyoshi », la plus ancienne locomotive à vapeur en service au Japon, assure son dernier convoi, avant la suspension de son exploitation commerciale pour cause d’obsolescence. Elle prend sa retraite car il est notamment devenu trop difficile d’en effectuer les réparations… La SL Hitoyoshi en quelques dates : 18 novembre 1922 Mise en service des locomotives à vapeur de type 8620-58654. #79 Legs Absolutely mental leg session. Last week I managed to hit a new PR on the hack squat and today I increased the load again, even more than last time, and I was still able to maintain the number of reps with the same proper technique. The last time I was doing 5 plates, the technique and speed of reach rep looked completely different. During the whole set, 100% contraction, no rest in between, controlling the weight every second. Same story with the back-off set. My legs are absolutely done, and my brain is too. This is the outcome when every single parameter is optimized and used to increase recovery. There is a reason why I document and upload every single session since I started the off-season. It might not make much sense at the moment, but once I reach my set goal for next season and I make sure to control every single parameter I can control, everything will fall into place.

Na mijn dienst ben ik dus even in Sittard gaan kijken, waar de trein op dat moment nog stond opgesteld. Vervolgens ben ik in Bunde de doorkomst nog eens vast te leggen... ik was toch nog klaarwakker. - During my evening shift I was told that steam locomotive 50 0073-2 would start the last stage to the Miljoenenlijn. DB Cargo 193 338, DB Cargofährt aankomst Tatasteel. Na de controle van de trein, werd het tijd om naar Beverwijk te rijden en daar de “Sittard” trein op te wachten. De machinist van de trein eraf, zo kon ik de trein van Beverwijk Goederen meenemen en binnen zetten te Tatasteel in Ijnuiden met een flinke lading Belgische kalk. DB Cargo 193 338, DB Cargofährt aankomst Tatasteel. Na de controle van de trein, werd het tijd om naar Beverwijk te rijden en daar de “Sittard” trein op te wachten. De machinist van de trein eraf, zo kon ik de trein van Beverwijk Goederen meenemen en binnen zetten te Tatasteel in Ijnuiden met een flinke lading Belgische kalk.
