This focuses on developing strength in your hip at end range. This means that the hip is flexed to the max capacity its able to flex, and is being forced to function in that position. If you can’t flex your hip, it’s ok to start at a lower box. End range strength is important because that’s the weakest point within our hip flexion, and that’s where we’re most vulnerable. So strengthening that part leaves you less prone to injury, and develops better hip function (strength), movement, and a solid base to produce explosiveness from. Ex 2: Develops knee ankle strength/stability. Love this for prepping and strengthening the joints, and building a solid foundation to produce force from, and perform optimal movements. Ex 3: This develops mobility (range of motion within the hips). All we’re doing here is putting the hips through an active range of motion, unlocking that tightness within it.
