If you’re serious about seeing results AND maintaining those results for a lifetime then consistency is the single most important thing you need‼️ Life is full of choices, and most of the time, all of the choices include hard things. Working out multiple days a week is hard. Cooking all your meals at home can be hard. But there is a lot of reward for making that hard choice! Strongman training for sports. I use as a complete workout or simply as a finisher. Especially for Grappling sports, this type of training focuses on real functional strength. Not the kind of functional shit you see like doing squats on a Bosu ball while juggling 3 pound Kettlebells, but the kind of training that builds whole body strength and stamina like farmers walk, sandbags, logs, sleds, etc. It is in my opinion the best way to gain strength and improve conditioning for wrestling, BJJ, and Judo. It is also a great tool to improve grip strength, - Is strongman workouts for you? Here is what to expect. - 1. Awkward and heavy That’s how it should feel. Heavy is relative to the person that lifts things up and puts them down. It goes without saying that what is heavy for you might be light for someone else, so my advice for any type of strongman workout is to ramp up the weights gradually, especially in a circuit style workout since it can bite you in the rear end sooner than you might think. - 2. Mental toughness I call it necessary roughness. Many get so caught up with their lifting ‘’favorites’’ that they forget the adaptation principle. Gym rats will always use exercises that they feel strong and master well, however, as soon as they try something new they put their ‘’tails’’ between their legs and find all the excuses why they sucked. Leave your pride at home, leave it to those big lifts and reap the rewards of real functional strength. - 3. Hardwork. You are the master of your own results. You can train in the best gym in the world, the most biomechanically advanced machines, the best supplement protocols known to man, but if you can’t train hard enough, results won’t be coming. Good power training and great glute workouts are often one in the same. Sure, people think by getting a “pump” in the glutes is a great way to know your glutes are getting the right training, but research doesn’t show that how much you feel actually relates to building better glutes. A 2023 study comparing squats to hip thrusts found, “we also verbally asked participants which exercise they “felt more” in the gluteal muscles after testing both exercises. All participants indicated they felt the hip thrust more in the gluteal region. However, these data were not quantified and, despite these anecdotal sensations and sEMG differences indicating more gluteus muscle excitation during HT, hip thrust RT and squat RT elicited similar applied outcomes.” In other words, because people felt their glutes more doesn’t mean their glutes actually worked more or even grew more. The fact was they got similar glute training in both the squat and hip thrust. Relying on anecdotal concepts can’t point us in the wrong direction and better solutions. We know the glutes are a major power muscle in the body. They work with the hamstrings and core to help build our posterior chain that allows us to jump high and run fast. These muscles are made to work together to create huge amounts of force and to do so quickly. So, if we use smart power training, we can also enhance our glute training. Even better is when we can use movements like @limitlesswithlina shows which are dynamic Ultimate Sandbag power movements with a lunge. The lunge offers us one of the best glute training drills as research has shown that lunges use the glutes more than most lower body exercises (even often more than squats and deadlifts) due to the fact we have to stabilize while we produce force to move the weight and our body. Using such exercises not only allows awesome glute training, but can be a huge way to help prevent knee injuries too because learning to decelerate in this manner will help the lower body (also with the help of the feet here) to develop reflexive stability to higher levels.

One of the first places that mobility and stability training goes wrong is not understanding that there is a close interrelationship between them both. The BIGGEST issue is thinking that a mobility issue (the ability to control a joint through a range of motion) is only due to the joint that you are looking at. Our body is designed to function as an integrated unit, a hip mobility issue can be a foot stability, ankle mobility, or even core stability issue. We end up making the mistake the neurologist, Dr. Karl Lewitt forewarned! “Those who treat the site of pain are often lost!” The joints react to the other joints of the body above and below. As some other great therapists have said… “Where you think it is – it ain’t”-Ida Rolf (creator of Rolfing) What coach @greg_perlaki shows is how we can use great functional fitness tools not just to load our body, but to provide feedback to our body in how to create stability as we move through patterns to help establish greater mobility. The feet are always a smart place to start because we are upright animals and if our feet don’t create stability it can impact the mobility of EVERYTHING up our body. That is why you see Greg use not just standing and upright exercises, but those that increase the demands of his feet to create stability in his movement. Core stability is always another good place to focus upon in our efforts to create better mobility. Holding the Ultimate Sandbag in the front load position and creating tension is a great example, but also using grip of kettlebells and suspension trainers allows us to connect our core to movements that we may THINK are only upper body based, but are actually whole body.

Rotational training often gets overlooked as a very effective means to build injury prevention to the knee, but I think it is crucial to see such training in that way. Especially in light of the fact that when many people employ rotational training they often do so with flat feet on the ground the entire time. Not creating a deliberate pivot into the ground that allows rotation to occur at the hips (the joint with WAY more rotation to it than the low back ) not only makes our rotational training less effective, but places way more stress upon the knee in very unnatural ways. The knee typically doesn’t handle large rotational forces acting upon it, that is why patterning good rotational training will enhance our movement, mobility, power, and keep us healthy at the same time. A 2012 paper in the Journal Of Strength & Conditioning gives some important explanations..”Creating rotational power in the torso is problematic for enhancing performing while improving injury prevention. Power is the product of force multiplied by velocity, or in a rotational sense, twist velocity multiplied by twisting torque. One of these must be low if the other is high. For example, in the golf swing, the twist velocity is high, but the rotational force is low resulting in low power, and low risk. If the twist force is high, then the speed must be low. This same concept holds true for pitching in baseball—observe the motion at the hips and shoulders as there is very little torso twisting. How- ever, if the rotational force is high, then the twisting velocity must be low to keep the torso power low. The implications for training are to stiffen the torso and focus the twist motion about the hips and shoulders.” These progressions of teaching rotational training are key because each tool and drill trains rotation at a different level with various challenges and working on various aspects. The first drill is to teach how to keep the core stable as we rotate through the foot and hip while keeping the torso relatively “quiet”. The rotational kb press increases the challenge because of the greater lever arm. Then the Ultimate Sandbag teaches more reflex stability and power.

KEEP GOING 💯💪 Vytrvalosť , disciplína a radosť z pohybu je práve to , čo nás posúva vpred či už pri fyzickej alebo inej aktivite. Všetko je v hlave a keď sa chce vždy sa dá , preto je veľmi dôležité aby sa človek správne nastavil a mal okolo seba ľudí, ktorí ho ťahajú ak prídu aj ťažšie dni 💪✌️ Po 6 týždňoch pravidelného tréningu sa nám začínajú ukazovať viditeľné výsledky. Zo začiatku sme mali tréning 2x do týždňa najmä silového charakteru a kardia. Posledné 3 týždne sme zaradili 2x týždenne beh. Už teraz je vidno , že sme na dobre ceste a postupne sa nám zlepšuje kondícia, s tepmi to vyzerá lepšie a prejavuje sa nám aj nárast sily. Zverenkyňa sa cíti dobre a samozrejme nepodceňujme ani regeneráciu poriadnu rozcvičku a stretching počas každého jedného tréningu . Takýmto tempom budeme pokračovať aj ďalej a spoločne veríme že ak je CHUŤ a VÔĽA tam je cesta 🔝💯 Ak chceš začať aj ty, nečakaj , či máš s kým alebo nie, či nemáš kde a podobne . For reference similar to our first cohort breakdown, the visual displayed shows both the mean results in blue and the 90th percentile results in relation to the 18+ female cohort as a whole. The more full a bar is the greater the result for the cohort, with a full bar being 100%. The main strengths in testing metrics we see from this groups’ average is their Drop Jump Flight Time (78%), Lateral Bound (78%) and 10 m Sprint (83%). Nel 2020 abbiamo realizzato, per un nuovo fabbricato di circa 10000mq adibito allo stoccaggio di cellulosa, un impianto di spegnimento incendi interno ed esterno con rete ad idranti, ed un impianto di estinzione fisso di tipo sprinkler con circa 850 testine. Il fabbricato verrà sottoposto ad un ampliamento per circa 2500mq ed è prevista, oltre alla consueta realizzazione della rete spegnimento fissa, sprinkler e mobile interna con idranti, la nuova centrale di pressurizzazione. La centrale è stata progettata per soddisfare il decreto ministeriale attualmente in vigore , e sono previste due pompe , una dedicata alla rete idranti secondo norma UNI – EN 12845 ed una dedicata alla rete sprinkler in accordo alla UNI 10779, congiuntamente alla NFPA americane. Un’ ultima peculiarità dell’impianto è quella che prevede la costruzione di una lama d’acqua, attivabile manualmente dall’esterno del fabbricato, per tutelare il sistema di pressurizzazione e la cisterna di stoccaggio di acqua da 700mc dal limitrofo capannone di stoccaggio pallets. Jak trénovat pro rozvoj svalové vytrvalosti Pokud je cílem sportovce zlepšit svalovou vytrvalost (např. pro soutěž v crossfitu, vytrvalostní medley ve strongmanu, test maximalního počtu kliků nebo zvládnutí kondičního tréninku s větší zátěží), je třeba trénovat nejen vyšší počty opakování a série pod únavou, ale postarat se také o rozvoj maximální síly a silové vytrvalosti. Čím vyšší maximální síla (1-3 opk) a silová vytrvalost (4-10 opk) na základních silových cvicích, tím větší je silová rezerva sportovce při každém opakování se submaximální vahou. Jinými slovy např. sportovec jehož maximu na MT je 270 kg, bude mít vyšší pravděpodobnost dokončení 20 opakování se 180 kg než sportovec, jehož maximum je 220 kg, nebo ve stejném případě má silnější sportovec potenciál dokončit 100 swingů s 24 kg kettlebellem v rychlejším čase než slabší sportovec (za předpokladu podobné technické zdatnosti).
