First photo was 8/2021, second photo was 5/2024... same skirt 😉. You may not see a HUGE change or even much of a difference between the two at all but I certainly do. It is a + 6-7 lb difference. 💪🏻 I have never been in a bulk so this was built up over a long time. Even though I was working out 5/6 days a week, lifting heavy and killing it in the gym in both photos, I am so much stronger today. My body composition has changed immensely and my face is clearly fuller. Adding in a good rotation of strength training over the past 16 months has really been a game changer. Point is, I have been consistent all through those years in my fitness and nutrition journey. I showed up everyday and put in the work. When I fell off track or got derailed briefly, I never gave up. Instead, I shook it off, gave myself grace and jumped right back into it. I know it is hard to build muscle, especially fighting pre-menopause and all the baggage that comes with it BUT if you are consistent, determined and patient, changes will happen. Remember: IT TAKES TIME. Sometimes, years!! I am happy with my progress so far and more so that I allowed it to happen over time. I am only looking forward and cannot wait to see what else I can accomplish. PUSH B Sessão realizada na força do ódio e com o hype de ter visto o JP a fazer high incline com 200kg uns minutos antes. A fadiga tem estado bastante presente nestas últimas sessões, em especial nesta, mas não é uma fadiga totalmente provocada pelas semanas de acumulação que já tenho nas costas (isto porque ainda aguento facilmente mais 2 ou 3).. todo este cansaço se deve ao stress que tenho sentido nestas últimas semanas devido a tudo o que ronda o trabalho, vida pessoal, wtv. que acabou por impactar a qualidade e quantidade do meu sono nestes últimos tempos. O meu ciclo circadiano tem andado completamente desregulado e isso reflete-se no cansaço que sinto ao acordar e, como eu treino sempre da parte da manhã, as sessões acabam por sair afetadas devido ao impacto que o sono tem na nossa performance diária. Portanto, apesar de querer/gostar de conseguir prolongar este mesociclo durante mais algum tempo, vou optar por tirar 3 ou 4 dias totalmente off depois da minha segunda sessão de legs, de modo a conseguir regular o meu ciclo circadiano e, consequentemente, melhorar a qualidade e quantidade do meu sono. Neste momento é a decisão mais sensata a tomar visto que continuar a insistir em realizar sessões com este nivel de intensidade e cansaço, não seria nada para além de contraprodutivo.. por isso vou ser inteligente, vou ouvir os sinais que o meu corpo me tem dado e vou descansar durante uns dias para depois, quando retornar, ser capaz de voltar a deixar tudo aquilo que tenho dentro do ginásio e conseguir abordar o próximo mesociclo da melhor maneira possível! Em suma, a mensagem que vos quero transmitir é ⬇ NÃO TENHAM MEDO DE NÃO TREINAR e não tenham medo de desligar o vosso lado emocional se isso significar que vão ser capazes de tomar as decisões mais acertadas no momento em que elas devem ser verdadeiramente tomadas. Wrapping up a busy week with low volume, intense session focusing on Hams/Glutes. Internally so focused nowadays that I just wanna listen to light music when training and thinking about only myself and my vision, my past and my future, what I’ve done ir what mistakes was made or even what great steps was taken that made me to be where I am today and reciprocally thinking about steps/ actions I should take to throw myself to the stage that I wanna be in the short term/long term future. Putting materials aside, I am trying to figure out where I fit in my life story. psychologically, mentally, personally where should I be in my lifetime movie frame is a big question mark for myself.
