Since January of 2023 when I spent about thirty hours in the ER, an hour and a half drive in an ambulance to another city, five days in the hospital I have repeated the four words "I Can Do This...: so many times, sometimes silently saying them, sometimes out loud saying them for various reasons. Day 11 of MHA Month! 🧠🥰 My mother and I went to a beautiful Tulip Farm today and it reminded me of the power of nature. Nature has the power to heal, reduce stress and improve our general wellbeing. 💐🌳🏕️ Exposure to nature not only makes you feel better emotionally, it contributes to your physical wellbeing, reducing blood pressure, heart rate, muscle tension, and the production of stress hormones. There are numerous studies that support the healing power of nature. A study of 20,000 people found that those who spend at least 120 minutes per week in nature, whether in a local park or other natural environment, were more likely to report better health and well-being. I know I feel more calm, connected and grounded when I am able to be outside! Heute stand Schnittlauchverarbeitung am Programm ☺️ Nachdem mein Schnittlauch ein wenig eskaliert ist, war es heute höchste Zeit ihn zu ernten 😅 Sobald er blüht, kann man auch die geschmackvollen Blüten sehr vielseitig verarbeiten. 🌸 Ich hab mich heute für Schnittlauchbutter und -essig entschieden. Die Butter schmeckt total lecker aufs Brot und auch zum Grillen ist sie ein Schmankerl 😋 Dafür einfach Butter mit Schnittlauch, ein paar abgezupften Blüten, anderen Kräutern nach Wahl und Salz vermengen und dann kühl stellen. Für den Essig hab ich weißen Balsamico verwendet, einfach eine Handvoll Blüten dazu und 2 Wochen durchziehen lassen. It’s always good to be back in this space after time off. For me, yoga is so much more than the poses. And in a time when I’m physically restricted from doing many of them, I’m even more reminded of the other powerful elements of the practice - breath, meditation and community. To have a place where you can go to take care of yourself and have full permission to do as little or as much as you need on any given day, in the company of others who are also on the path of doing good for themselves and ultimately the world…well, it’s something very sacred and special. Det sætter livet i perspektiv!❕🤍 For hvordan vil jeg... Hvordan vil vi mindes vores rejse? Vil vi mindes at vi fulgte vores hjerte og levede vores drømme ud? Eller vil vi mindes at vi kæmpede os igennem en stor del af rejsen - i stræben efter at leve op til andres forventninger? Og hvad er egentlig drømme-destinationen? ❔ Er vi måske på den lige nu? Og har vi egentlig husket at nyde den inden vi hastede videre mod en ny destination?
