Kenting, Taiwan 2024 🇹🇼☀️🏖️🛵🥾🌿🌅🍜 We went to the most southern part of Taiwan - Kenting national park! And it was beautiful 😍 long sandy beaches with blue water, nice trails in lush hills, good view points over the coast, red sunsets and good food scene 💙💚🧡❤️🩷 We found the best breakfast spot just outside our guesthouse - we ate here most days and for the evenings we went to the very good (and busy) night market. As for activities we went to the beach one day - the water was pretty chilly but the view was breathtaking 🥶🙌😍🏖️ the next day we rented a scooter and experienced good views, parks with nice trails, the harbour and several beaches ☀️🛵💨 the last day we went hiking in the national park, where there was an amazing viewpoint, cool caves, nice trees and lots of monkeys ☺️🐒🥾🙌🌳 Overall Kenting is a very nice place that has a lot to offer - whether you like the beach, woods, culture or food there is something for you 🫶 1. I’ve wanted to do this climb for years! Finally found the trick to book a last-minute ticket, and not wait months. . - it was the most claustrophobic climb I’ve ever done. Lots of landings to see the statue’s inner build, super-interesting, but super-claustrophobic. - the NPS Ranger at the base said I might not want to take my camera, it’ll get banged up on the climb. My good man, this is an F5! It was built to be aggressively, but not abusedly, banged around! - the view from the crown is impressive, but constricted. The windows are small. Moin Freunde des Wattenmeeres 🐚, in unserem Aquarium kann man viele verschiedene Tiere beobachten. Eines dieser Tiere ist die Gemeine Strandkrabbe 🦀. Die Strandkrabbe gehört zu den Krebsen, das heißt sie besitzt einen harten Panzer, der nicht mitwächst. Dadurch muss sie sich regelmäßig häuten. Diese Häutungen finden wir manchmal am Strand. Aber Achtung, stellt immer sicher, dass sich kein totes Tier mehr im Panzer befindet, sonst fängt dieser bald ganz schnell an, unangenehm zu riechen. Mit ihren vier Laufbeinpaaren und einem Scherenpaar hat die Strandkrabbe insgesamt 10 Beine. Das macht das geradeaus laufen sehr kompliziert, weshalb alle Strandkrabben sogenannte „Dwarslöper“ (Plattdeutsch für „Seitwärtsläufer“) sind.
