. Äntligen dags för säsongens första SUP-yoga i Gävle. Onsdag 29 maj, kl 18:30-20:00 🏄‍♀️ Följ med ut på vattnet för en härlig och avkopplande stund med SUP-yoga. När du yogar på SUP-brädan adderas ytterligare dimensioner till din yogaupplevelse. Med vattnet som underlag utmanas din balans lite extra och du aktiverar per automatik många stabiliserande muskler. Det rörliga underlaget gör även att din känsla av närvaro och medvetenhet stärks. Och att vaggas av vattnets rörelser hjälper också din kropp att slappna av. 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨 Main concerns were feeling very uncomfortable: physically in pain and sore all of the time. She also had fatigue - she was tired and moody most days. She also called her PMS week ‘rage week’. Fast forward 12 weeks- this client calls herself a ‘pleasant little peanut’. She has no PMS symptoms, her mood is stable and her energy is back to where it should be. She no longer has joint pain and can walk her 10k steps per day and complete training with no issues. Her bloodwork shows drastically reduced inflammation, which was also an area of concern she mentioned once we started the program. This is also a client with ulcerative colitis as well as celiac disease - we optimized digestion and explored fun and delicious foods for her to enjoy. The changes were done sustainably so she can continue on her journey to achieving all of her goals. Full lower body 💙🌊🫐 SWIPE ➡️ Quads, glutes, hamstrings and calves. This is my lower body 1 of 2 for the week and it always has my WHOLE body pumped up MOVEMENTS: Barbell hip thrust Heel elevated barbell zombie//front squat Walking lunge Seated hamstring curl 45 degree hyperextension Standing calf raise The barbell movements are standalone but the remaining 4 are supersets. The walking lunge — ham curl superset is and has been the most challenging for me over the last several weeks of doing it. Through my cutting phase I have been celebrating that I am moving the heaviest weight I ever have with both of those movements (even compared to when I wasn’t in a calorie deficit)… and for 10-12 reps. It really is rough, but in the best way. Did you know?... 🔥 Strengthening your back and chest muscles can help with posture, prevent injury, and improve your physique. 🔥 Building up your chest muscles can help improve shoulder stability and reduce your risk of shoulder injury. 🔥 Training chest and back on the same day is a great way to pair muscle groups together. It allows for a balanced workout by targeting both pushing (chest) and pulling (back) muscle groups, which can help prevent muscular imbalances and promote a more symmetrical physique. 🔥 Better Breathing: In addition to improving your posture, strengthening and lengthening chest muscles helps to support deeper breathing. That’s because the pecs are attached to your ribs, which expand with every breath. 🔥 Everyday Perks: Even if you don’t realize it, you use your pecs an awful lot during daily activities. Anything that involves lifting, holding, squeezing or pushing calls on your pecs; so it doesn’t hurt to have a little extra strength in that muscle group.
