My mind is a mess, my feelings are too. There is so much chaos in my life right now. My heart and my mind just won’t align. I have thoughts that won’t let me relax and I desperately need this. I try to focus on the present, to enjoy the moment, but I have so many tabs open in my mind… how do I stop overthinking? How do I recover from being overwhelmed? How do I get out from this fight/flight/freeze mode? I feel constantly angry, anxious and irascible. I am unable to concentrate on the things that I’m doing or should be doing. I scroll mindlessly for hours (a day) and I regret in the night that I didn’t do more, more for me and my self care. I have so many plans for the next day every night when I go to bed and I don’t keep up to any of them in the morning.. it’s frustrating, this auto-sabotage thing and I can’t stop. I am in a freeze mode and there’s no way out. I get stuck in this trap all the time. Whenever you are anxious, worried, depressed, stressed, just remember that those thoughts aren’t what are actually happening.
