These kids exhaust me. Physically and mental they suck the life out of me. They’re loud, they don’t listen, they make messes wherever they go. Basically they’re kids. Perfectly imperfect children. "Wat ben je sterk" Dit is een zin wat ik de laatste tijd veel hoor omdat ik de keus gemaakt heb om te stoppen met mij prep voor zo'n 6 weken terug. Heel eerlijk voel ik mij alles behalve sterk, ik ben niet meer de "sterke vrouw" die ik was in mijn ogen. Die echt een specifiek doel had en alles er aan deed om die te halen, terwijl ik nu ook een doel heb. Gezond worden, gezond denken, en gezond zijn. Dat is makkelijker gezegt dan gedaan, ik wil hier niet zielig gaan lopen doen want dat ben ik niet. Maar ik wil er wel eerlijk over zijn, omdat ik weet dat veel mensen hier ook mee lopen. Soms zie ik ook alleen maar de negatieve dingen, doe ik het nu wel goed? Moet ik niet meer doen? Moet ik juist meer rust nemen? Moet ik meer eten voor energie en kracht? Moet ik minder eten want ik heb gister al meer gegeten? Maar ik hoef nu ook geen "honger" meer te hebben. Moet ik meer aan mijn conditie werken? Deze kleren zitten weer anders. Ik kijk in de spiegel en ik verander weer. Wat denken mensen als ze mij weer zien? Er gaan nog zo zo veel meer gedachtes rond, van onschuldige gedachtes tot echt diepe gedachtes. Ik weet dondersgoed wat ik kan eten, hoe ik moet trainen. Ik weet dondersgoed dat ik niet te streng moet zijn, maar ook niet te los moet zijn. Ik weet dondersgoed wat ik wil, maar ik weet ook dondersgoed dat dit tijd nodig heeft. Voor de mensen die zichzelf hier in herkennen, en ik weet dat die er zijn. Je hoeft niet te reageren, je hoeft alleen maar te lezen en jezelf een schouder klopje geven. Sta er even bij stil dat je het goed doet ondanks alle omstandigheden. Gun jezelf de tijd, ik vind het ook lastig.
