Current second legs day of the week. 2x 8-15 lying leg curls. Not shown 2x10-15 seated adductor machine. Not shown. 2x 6-10 Panatta squat machine. 2x 8-15 leg press 2x 8-12 RDL's on machine 3x10-15 leg press calf raises. Not shown. Machine only based movements to maximise stability required to really take all movements as close to failure as possible with minimal risk of injury. Also having to train 5 days straight with weekends off to allow for family commitments the body is a little beat up by day 4. So just being smart with exercise selection for max performance and reduced fatigue is the goal. The changes I have made from last year to this year with my wheels has been pretty significant. . The key for me was finally repairing the 12mm tear in my right quad tendon with countless PRP injections and not doing things that aggravated it. Training efficiently has been monumental and making the most of every rep in every set and completely skyrocketing my top sets. . It’s crazy that they look better now at 47 than they did when I was 27. Applied knowledge goes a long way to induce a positive and progressive response. LEG DAY: Come migliorare le gambe? 🤔 Se le gambe non crescono, le cause potrebbero essere 2! 1. Non le alleni, allenale. 2. Per genetica non riesci a farle crescere, allenale di più e meglio. Ho sperimentato una miriade di esercizi per allenarle e personalmente, se faccio mobilità all’inizio, riesco a sentire i muscoli contrarsi meglio. Non mi baso solo sulla spinta di grossi carichi; il time under tension è fondamentale se vuoi sfibrarle il più possibile. Pensa che glutei e quadricipiti sono tra i muscoli più potenti del corpo umano. Purtroppo, anche se ho un vasto mediale di nome Jim, quando alleno le gambe, a livello nervoso, patisco molto. C’è stata addirittura una volta in cui sono arrivato a vomitare per la troppa intensità con cui ho fatto un leg day. Ecco il menu di oggi del mio leg day: Salvati il workout e provalo! 😎✅ 1.
