Through all the trials and tribulations the failures and accomplishments “Trust In God” if I haven’t learned anything from this season that’s the thing that stuck I had worries the whole season and thought I was going to never Pr and be a terrible season but when I stepped on that track for the last time in my high school athletics I decided to pray not once but twice because I felt anxiety creeping back up on me and this was the best meet I ever had because I didn’t worry and trusted in myself and God plan for me now it’s only up from here and thanks for the coaching staff especially @sambodie24 and coach Gillian for helping me along the way it’s been a long journey but this isn’t only about track this a family and is a life lesson for motivation, work ethic, and connection because without being on this track I’ll probably be a hot head still fighting every time I felt like I was disrespected but this helped me learn that discipline and to outwork the next man is better than showing dominance or being better than someone everyone have capability to be great it is the mindset that differentiate the best from the norm ✌🏽 #godisgood #jesuschrist #stayhumble #track #senior #co2024 #northwestknights #northwest #400m

God's timing is perfect! April was a hard month. My husband had two accidents, and the second one totaled his car. I did not want to speak too much about it until May because I knew God was taking everything and turning it around in our favor. When supernatural things like this happen, I have learned to stay quiet! Do not allow your big mouth to ruin things! 1. He is alive and did not even have a scratch on him. Glory to God! 2. No one was hurt in the accident, Glory to God 3. We decided we were going to wait to replace his car, but God had other plans. My spirit was telling me to call my guy at the Subaru dealer. We did not know what car we were getting, so I figured let's rent a car and then figure it out. We rented the car for 3 hours because he walked out of the dealer with his new car! God is great! 😭🙏 4. The insurance calls us to finalize the car payment, and we had positive equity on the car they will be cutting us a check! 🙏😭🙏 Though out this entire ordeal, all I can say was thank you God, you have spared his life and showed up and showed out!!! God's mercy and abundance were all over amid one of the scariest moments of his life. Icing on the cake, today my boss calls me to offer me a permanent position, which I was basically on probation for one year🙏😭🙏 Yall know your girl is a Cryer, but today God showed me that his mercy surpasses understanding. Throughout the years we’ve been programmed to accept and even glorify negative emotions as if they will always be a part of us or who we are. Emotions and mental disorders are very real and very painful, but we do not have to live in this dark reality. We have a choice! Mental health awareness month magnifies a problem, but rarely offers the solution. It merely keeps people in an endless cycle of anxiety, shame, guilt, anger, depression, and a state of "acceptance" that years of therapy can't seem to heal. Letting go of the negative emotions that have been part of our daily lives isn’t simple, but it is possible. It takes bold prayer, bold faith, understanding, and full submission to God to see the abundant life he has for all of us (John 10:10). Healing requires letting go of “my anxiety” and “my depression”, and declaring this truth, "through his stripes I am healed" (Isaiah 53:5). In Christ I am more than a conqueror and an overcomer! As the timeless Proverbs 23:7 says, "as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he." Don't give up hope, trust God! Singleness is not loneliness. Loneliness is being in relationships with people who don’t prioritize your feelings and needs. Loneliness is constantly hearing I’m too busy and I don’t have time. Loneliness is being in love with someone’s potential not who they actually are. Loneliness is a person dipping in and out only when it serves them. Loneliness is being around people who can’t pray or sit with you peacefully. Loneliness is someone withholding affection and kindness. Singleness is a gift. You are already whole. A spouse will not make you whole. They may simply add value to your already valuable existence. If they do not come with peace they are not from God. If they are not trying to improve your daily life they are not from God. If they are not leading you to the cross they are not from God. Be patient, he knows exactly who you need and he will send a person equipped to care for you in a way that glorifies him. Keep looking up 🙏
Conforming to feminist culture and materialism is a dead end street. It will eventually leave you physically exhausted, emotionally depleted, disconnected, and defensive, It puts you in the presence of weak men who can’t and will not lead. Sink into softness, embrace simplicity, be exactly who God designed you to be. Womanhood is very simple. Choose modesty, care for your home, care for your body and spirit, steward your finances, embrace femininity. Get serious and get in alignment with Gods will. You surely will loose some friends, family and you may not be a good fit for many employers. If God is calling you to leave modern ideas behind, embrace it. The call on your life is far more important than what others think. God provides. Don’t miss out on Gods glory because you are conforming and settling.
No more settling, no more people pleasing, no more making excuses for myself or other people, no more stress, no more anxiety, no more fear of being misunderstood. Finally home, in my heart, in my mind, and in my spirit, loving this little island. Thankful for a calm, slow, purposeful life. It’s been a long journey getting here and I’m never looking back. Only looking up. Be thankful for the people and places that God removed from your life. It was his protection.
