Onsdagspasset 💪🏼😍 Idag blev en grymt bra dag! ✌🏼😎 Promenader till & från jobbet, sen ner till gymmet och där blev det pass nr 16 av #powerboost av @livity.app Började passet med 5km jogg på löpbandet och kom under 30 minuter! Vilket blev ett mål under joggingturen! Sen fullt ös på passet och mamma körde med mig också! Och passet avslutades med intervallet på löpbandet i 20 min! Idag va en bra dag! Allt kändes rätt enkelt, trots att pumpen gick jobba så flöt allt på! Skönt som tusan att jag hade rätt enkelt att klara 5 km under 30. För om 2 veckor är det @varruset i Stockholm, och då ska jag självklart vara med. Förra året körde jag med mamma och kom in på ca 38,45 min. I år kan mamma inte vara med så nu ska jag försöka få till tiden ordentligt och hamna runt 30 är planen! Repeat after me: THERE’S MORE TO LIFE THEN TRYING TO BE THE SMALLEST IN THE ROOM‼️ When I first started my fitness journey, all I wanted to be was smaller. No matter how thin I got, I always feared I was “too big” or “too much”. The fear of being “too much” is hardwired into us at a young age. Weather it’s being too big, too loud, or too bossy. Chances are that you have been made to feel as though you should shrink yourself to make others more comfortable in some way. I challenge you to get comfortable with taking up space. Whether it’s in the gym, at your job, in the classroom, etc. You do not have to shrink yourself and your potential to fit external expectations of what you should be. Get comfortable with being “too much”. Workout not because you hate your body, but because you love it. ✨ . . . . That mind shift makes such a huge difference in how you talk to yourself and show up in your workouts! For too many years I did the whole endless cardio/HIIT and undereating thing that so many of us women got stuck in after growing up in the 90's and the "skinny fad." Switching my goals to be performance oriented and strength focused made such a positive difference in how I viewed myself and how motivated and encouraged I was. Instead of punishing my body into trying to look a certain way and be small, I found myself being immeasurably proud of what it accomplished or did. The mindset switched from one of negativity and picking apart what I didn't like, to being proud of the work I put in and loving my body for what it could do, not how it looked. That positivity has kept me encouraged, motivated, and coming back time and time again to my workouts. So be kind to yourself, thank your body for what it's carried you through today, and be hella proud of all your hard work! 🎉🫶 . . . We all know how the “skinny” ideal ended (body dissatisfaction & terrible relationships with food) for surviving millennials. Want to get in shape, simply feel better and healthier, have more energy and don’t know where to start? We feed grains to our animals to fatten them up, why would we think it won't do the same for us? Grains, beans, lentils, nuts, seeds all contain lectins, anti-nutrients, oxalate, molds, oxidized highly imflammtory oils and high amounts of pesticides/herbicides including glyphosate.
