Happy Monday y’all. Just a quick check in and update. My biopsy came back with no invasive cancer found (no cancer outside my milk ducts). The lumpectomy removed the DCIS mass measuring 2 cm and then there was 2 more DCIS masses in the surrounding tissue, one at around .9 cm and the other .8 cm. There was no DCIS found in the margins (meaning the very edge of the outer cut). So YAY for not needing any more additional surgery. Today I have my CT scan to do a mapping season session for my radiation treatment. In about 2 more weeks I will have at least 16 radiation treatments to the whole breast that will take place over 3 weeks. Shout out to my husband for the support and going to every appointment. #igotthis
