I’m planning my daughters’s 4th birthday (mermaid these this year! 🧜🏼♀️) and I can’t believe how fast the time has flown by! How is this photo from 3 years ago?! Last night my daughter took a long time to fall asleep and I finally decided to let her jump into bed with me and we scrolled through old photos and videos. We laughed and she kept stopping my scroll to see so many of them, like the first time she walked on her own. I looked at her, got a little emotional, and told her, “I love you”. She replied with “I love you too mommy” and my heart just sank for a moment. I have a tendency to move so fast sometimes and this was a moment that I knew I needed to STOP and take in! I gave her extra kisses and hugs and stayed with her a little longer before moving her back to her bed. Then I just started at her and thanked God for this beautiful little girl! We say it all the time, “time flies!” So… take all the photos and videos you want! Soak in every hug, every kiss goodnight, and live in every moment! Going from 1 to 2 kiddos has been an adjustment that’s for sure. Grace is feeling it and she does understand that Finn needs more attention but she is only just under 5 and she needs attention. It’s hard but trying to be more mindful to make time for just her and I. She has been watching me doing my skincare routine and wanted to do it too. So I got her face wash and moisturizer. Now we can do it together💜 ( and she gets a clean face without me even having to force her)

Nail polish is now on the list with markers and pens and paint that can’t be left within this kids reach. 😭
