In 2017 my dog died, my 55yr old maple didn't come back, an my step dad passed after a sudden diagnosed disease.....before I lost my tree I had about 30+ Rex Begonias in my main shade garden bed, after it died I haven't done them sense until this year! Another day and another 5k, up at bat shit crazy o’clock today, mainly because I had lots of mixed up dreams about dad last night, I mean dreams are always crazy, well mine are but this was just so crazily real it was weird, speaking to Millie this morning and she had dreamt of him as well, which was doubly strange, he clearly needed to visit both of us last night. I feel slightly strange now though because dreaming of a loved one that’s no longer here is nice but waking up and realising it was a dream well it leaves you feeling empty. So I knew I needed to run, get a top up on those feel good hormones. Those first few minutes of a run are always hard and then you kind of find your groove, then you decide to race a tram, that was fun, who knew my little legs could run so fast haha bet I looked like Road Runner from that cartoon years ago, you will only know the cartoon if your are getting old hahah and then of course I beat said tram 🥳 even though Mark said I couldn’t hahah and yes the tram was at the station giving me a little head start it wasn’t a one horse race just to be clear it was moving. Anyway after I took first place 🥇 I actually thought I might vomit which was nice, definitely not the feeling I was going for hahahah but now I’m home and feeling better, hoping for a break from doom & gloom, bad news and general bollocks of being an adult, positive energy only . . Half term is nearly here only 3 more get ups 🥳🥳 and then it’s only 7 weeks till the big holidays. I actually can’t believe how quickly this year is going by - it’s insane.
