Many women only become conscious about products once they are actually slathering something on their newborn’s skin, but now is the time to start being hyper-conscious about all products used. What goes onto your skin or into your lungs then goes into your bloodstream, which feeds your baby. From cosmetics, including perfume and nail polish to sunscreens to cleaning products and laundry detergents, look at the ingredients. If the ingredient list has a chemical you don’t recognize, the likelihood is that your body won’t recognize it and it will need to be processed by the liver. Because there are minimal requirements for labeling something as “green,” don’t rely on the product to tell you the truth about its ingredients. “Sensitive” and “All Natural” essentially mean nothing. I meant to post this about two weeks ago! Oops! This baba smoosh is 3 months old already! This month he’s discovered many things including his thumb and his sloth knotted blankie. . EEN KLEIN INKIJKJE Alvast een heel klein inkijkje van de eerste fertiliteitsshoot die ik heb gedaan. Het is vandaag de dag van de kinderwens, dus deze post voelt vandaag helemaal passend. Wat was het bijzonder en fijn en mooi. Een gezin met de wens voor een tweede kindje. Toen we opzoek gingen naar een geschikt moment voor de fotoshoot en ik vroeg wat ze graag vastgelegd wilde hebben, gaf Brechtje aan dat ze vooral wilde dat de foto's zouden laten zien hoe de situatie nu is. Want dat een traject met een kleine peuter om je heen, anders is, dat is wel duidelijk. Ik zorgde dat ik om 18.00u bij het gezin was, ik maakte het eten mee, we speelden nog even met kleine Taeke, gingen door een goeie driftbui, deden hem onder de douche en droogten hem af (foto 1), lazen zijn lievelingsboekje, gingen samen spuiten zetten (foto 2) en ik eindigde met Brechtje in het ziekenhuis. De reportage is helemaal geworden hoe de situatie is, wat elke avond hun ritueel is en de chaos die een traject met zich meebrengt. Maar wat ik vooral terug zie in de fotoserie, is de liefde voor elkaar en de power van dit gezin, het is alles behalve makkelijk. Op 1 juli wordt dit aanbod echt gelanceerd, zijn de volledige reportages te bekijken op mijn website en staan alle mogelijkheden uitgelegd. Voor het gemak heb ik het nu "Fertiliteitsshoots" genoemd. Maar op 1 juli wil ik de perfecte naam aan dit aanbod hangen. Ik heb hele leuke ideeën, maar natuurlijk super benieuwd hoe jij het zou noemen!
