Water is my happy place. Water is where my body connects and finds its natural rhythm, and where my mind detaches from all that hinders. I find solace in the flow of a warm shower. I cleanse my mind and rejuvenate my body in the chill of a winter lake. Delicate water droplets on blades of grass never fail to mesmerize me, and misty mornings transport me into a fairy-like reverie. I can’t imagine a better place, both for dancing and for crying, than the pouring rain. I love the sound of water, the rhythmic patter of raindrops composing a lullaby, the ripple of a stream singing soothing melodies, and the powerful yet tender roar of the sea. When I walk along the river, I hear the water softly calling my name. When I stand on the shoreline, the ocean extends its waves like inviting arms, playfully tickling my toes. Water touches gently, when I dip my feet in a small river stream, and through soft rain, each droplet delicately caressing my skin. Water hugs me like no other ever could, molding itself to every contour of my body. Water makes me feel held like no other ever would, making me feel weightless and embraced simultaneously. Water, in all its forms, embodies the nurturing power of touch, and in the ebb and flow of life, I consider water one of my dearest friends. I was obsessed and I loved all the tropes, the writing, the characters!! I loved the second chance romance and having the found family trope as well. She lives in what I call the "Wasteland" on the side of my house, it where all the lost plant souls go (should be like 20 rosemary plants and a shit ton of basil *sticks* over there but mostly it's succulents 😂😂) .... I'm pretty sure she's covered in rust from our sprinkler system that runs on well water.... The sprinkler system died like 2 years ago.... So that's just how she looks now, we haven't watered her in FOREVER.... Up until recently she was thought to be dead (shoulda checked for myself) I walked around the side of the house the other day and there she was, blooming in all her speckled glory!! She was damn determined to survive, to bloom, she adapted and look at her now!!
