Day 3 - mentally the toughest day by far. Woke up with a a worrying amount of soreness and really feeling beaten before I'd even got out of bed. Had to really have a good chat with myself - watched some quick vids on working out with soreness to make sure I wasn't doing more harm than good - as well as some old vids for motivation. My first set of #pressups was the hardest to start but I could feel 90% of the soreness leave my muscles during the first 10 - pretty much telling me it was mainly in my head! Moral of the story - don't let your head tell your body what it's capable of! Press-ups: Normal 10 Diamond 10 Wide 10 Fist 10 Spartan 10 - completing these was a huge accomplishment after yesterday's effort! This month F.I.S.T program on the menu! Five In Solo Training conditioning program for healthy and strong fists. In Systema we don’t wrap our fist and protect them with gloves. It’s very simple we don’t walk around with gloves on all day. Hitting without protection can go very bad for you if you never trained to hit without gloves. So we need to prepare the fists properly and hit different than with protection, more like bare knuckles fighting. WRIST MOBILITY 🔥 — Yes even wrists and fingers should be trained!!! If you spend a lot of time on your hands or lack the ability to spend a lot of time on your hands due to wrist limitations then give them some attention — Use your common sense and don’t begin too hard too soon I have showed some easier variations on your knees and everything can be regressed according to your limitations — There should be strain but no pain — It is important to do them every day and consistently. Loving the weight belt right now one week of using it starting off with 25 lbs plate and now moving forward to 45lbs plate. First one took enough time to look like this(*well all these variations took their time). I am happy that they didn't come easily because I have learnt , unlearnt so much and I am still doing same. . . Well, third one is crazy af so if you have roller try it out 👻 . . Also today for the very first time I did one min burpee challenge and could get 26, well honestly it was done in 56 seconds and then I started panting like a dog who ran miles without water(*much worse)🙈 Yet it was for the first time I crossed my standard benchmark of 20 burpees in one set🤣 . .
