Recently Jackson and Alli went to MPCC Community Life Center to work on strength training as well to brush up on their competitive sides. They were able to do weight training on Nautilus equipment then hopped over for a friendly game of seated volleyball. Stretching, working on flexibility and weight training are all extremely important to improve range of motion, reduce muscle spasticity (muscle tightness) and prevent the onset of contractures (a fixed tightening of muscle, tendons, ligaments, or skin).

Are there bad coaches in this industry? Absolutely. But there are also AMAZING coaches out there who truly care about your health. It is also the truth that clients push coaches for results and don’t care much about their health until they experience all the negative effects. They initially think great coaches are based on what they can do for them right now regardless of the aftermath. Coaches are guides that should be listened to, but many clients initially pay for quick results, so it puts pressure on the coach. Quick results won’t be good for you long-term. Life update. Today was the best day I’ve had at physical therapy. The knee is doing knee things and I could actually squat today! I’ve been quiet but I’ve worked out everyday this month. Spring is here, and I’ve stayed busy. Also, my puppy was born the day after my birthday!
