So much has changed in our lives during this time span! The photo on the left was taken during a spring break trip to Big Bend in 2021. I remember how much fun we had and what a AWESOME experience it was…but, I also remember EXACTLY how miserable I was. My whole body ached after our hike that day 😩 my feet were swollen from the inflammation. My joints ached from supporting the extra weight. And I wasn’t sleeping well, so I was tired and lacked the energy I needed to get through the day. Despite thinking I was on track with healthy eating and attempts at exercise, my efforts were only causing me to remain stuck and they werw actually causing more damage than good. Enter in the plan that has changed my life…Fast forward 3 years to the picture on the right…this was taken at Wolf Caves earlier this month. Even though we were rock crawling in the Jeep, I still managed to hike over 11k steps that day without any pain or suffering!! Thanks to this amazing plan, I no longer have swollen feet, achy joints, and my energy level is through the roof! And while camping the weekend at wolf caves, I actually came home 1.8 pounds lighter!!! I mean, who does that?? 🙋♀️ I challenge you to think about where you see yourself next year? Will you be stuck spinning your wheels like I was or will you be on your path to optimal health? The choice is yours and I would love to show you the way. Certainly having had 4 children myself, one of whom had a formal diagnosis of ADHD as a child, I know how this feels!
