PREP UPDATE -STEPPING INTO WEEK 3 FIRST PIC- Weight av-51.4 kg(intuitive eating and holiday) SECOND PIC av-52.5 kg- 2400 cal on training days and 1850 on non. -Now, the start of week 3 of getting ready to build a body I love for my beach wedding(still a few months away, 01-Oct-24)  -I am now in a weight-gain phase to make my routine more structured, get good nutrients to build strength and muscle back, and aid recovery after my last comp, my operation, and the loss of structured training and diet that came with it all. -I would not be in a good place to cut yet, so I am building myself back up while maintaining some flexibility to enjoy summer and life without being as rigid as on a bodybuilding prep! The plans are to build and allow the body to gain weight for another 3 -4 weeks, gradually cutting off at the end of September for the wedding and possible shoot while still being mindfully flexible at this point to fit in summer events. -It’s always hard to put on scale weight and body fat, even with purpose, but it is necessary! -So, I am embracing my journey and happy I am slowly getting stronger! Greens Mac & Cheese 🧀🌱 Cheesy, tasty and full of veggie goodness! 🤩 Ingredients: • 1 LEEK • 3 CLOVES GARLIC 400g TENDERSTEM BROCOLLI • 40g LIGHT BUTTER • 2 TBSP PLAIN FLOUR • 1L SKIMMED MILK • 450g DRIED MACARONI 150g EATLEAN TASTY 50g • FLAKED ALMONDS 100g BABY SPINACH Method: 1. Prep the leek and remove the broccoli florets (save for later) and finely slice the leeks & stems together. 2. Add the veg to a large pan over a medium heat, along with the crushed garlic cloves and butter and cook until softened. 3. Add the flour and the milk and simmer for 10 mins or so until the sauce has thickened. 4. In a separate pan, par cook the macaroni lightly – 5 mins only. 5. Grate the Eatlean Tasty cheese and stir in most of it followed by the spinach. 6. Using a hand blender lightly blitz the mixture – to a texture of your choice. 7. Add the broccoli florets and the cooked pasta and season well. 8. Add the mixture to an oven proof dish and top with the remaining Tasty cheese and almonds (optional). 9. ‼️UPDATE‼️ It has been 23 weeks since beginning this body building journey. This was taken earlier this morning fasted. Currently I’m sitting at 195lbs and eating nearly 3300 calories daily. I’ve been able to maintain the leanness, and I’ve put on at least 2 solid pounds of muscle naturally. After 5 months of being in a growth phase it’s about that time to enter my 16 weeks cut, and step on stage for the first time. I’m super proud of my progress thus far. There is still A LOT of work to put in before stepping on stage.
