Once I started doing one HIIT workout a week, I was able to tone up easier. I struggled to keep cardio in my workouts because I was so focused on lifting heavy & gaining muscle, but cardio is needed not only for toning your body, but making sure your cardiovascular system is on point 👏🏽 Workout details belowwww Sprints for 30 seconds 30 seconds-1 min rest in between 4-5x Weights squat jumps x12 + paired with one arm kettlebell swings x20 4x through Mountain climbers 30 seconds + paired with burpees x10 4x through Ab circuit ! Weights single leg V ups x12-15 Leg raises x12-15 Weighted Russian twists x20 Plank for 30 seconds Repeat 3x Save this for later and let me know what you think☺️🫶🏾🏋🏾‍♀️ P.S. my sis in the back kills me everytime. How to never ‘fail’ on your fitness journey again. There’s obviously a ton of little obstacles that get thrown in the way of your health and fitness journey. Kids. Work. Alcohol. Motivation. The list goes on and on. But you didn’t ‘fail’ on your journey because of these things. (Also, fail is a strong word, so take it out of your vocab when it comes to fitness) You ‘failed’ because you let these things STOP your fitness journey dead in it’s tracks… RATHER THAN adjusting around those obstacles to keep moving forward. As we all know by now, there are some busy seasons of life, And then there are even *BUSIER* seasons of life. They key for hitting your goals isn’t to be perfect through it all, It’s just to KEEP GOING through it all, no matter how busy each season is. So maybe during the ‘less busy’ seasons of life you can workout 4x per week, track your food, aim to shed a few pounds, etc. But during the *extremely* busy seasons of life, maybe it’s down to 2 workouts. Maybe it’s just aiming to eat 1-2 fruits/veggies a day rather than takeout for every meal. Maybe it’s just focusing on maintaining weight instead of gaining like you would in the past. So this health and fitness thing isn’t about being perfect and pushing through no matter what, It’s about doing the best that you can in each season of life so that you don’t set yourself up for ‘failure’ during the busy seasons. I promise you’ll feel much better about yourself hitting 100% of your ‘shifted down’ goals during the extra busy seasons of life, Rather than trying to hit 100% of your ‘normal’ goals that you typically have, and falling short of them. So realize what season of life you are in, adjust your goals, and do your best in each season. You’ll set yourself up for much more long term success doing this.
