Have you ever felt resentment towards yourself because of how frustrated you are that your health isn't where it once was❓ I guess that's the point where we have forgotten that God has gotten us through the other side before. I have just been in this weird head space, happy that I reached a milestone in my career and future success, but struggling with this blood clot that is in my right arm. I just feel resentment that my body isn't as fast, isn't as energetic and it makes me feel like my body is working against me, just being real with you guys. The brain fog is a cloud in my mind feels like there is a smoke trail in my mind. It's Friday 7:53pm and all I can do is write this while I fight my sleep, and fatigue. I see your frustration with your lack of progress…WTF is going on, right?! Long Covid & Hyperbaric Oxygen therapy (HBOT) Day 4 / 15 ✅ .. and I’m totally exhausted!!! WHY?⬇️ My body is taking + using higher level of oxygen & basically I’m not used to it.. yet!! But apparently it’s normal. I might start feeling the effects next week though 🤞🏼 To make sure I’m on the right dose though, I’ll be having an assessment on the 22.05 to see if the P2 pressure will need to be increased to P3 or not. If my Long Covid symptoms aren’t improving by then, it will be increased so we shall see. The chamber can sit 7 people. Initially I worried about being sat down for over an hour. I have suspected POTS from long covid and it’s worse when I’m sat down; including the heart palpitations. However this week I was able to sit in there, for the whole hour, without feeling light headed. I also worried about warm temperatures + how small it would be, while being locked up in a chamber. But there are 2 powerful fans attached to the ceiling and with 6 people in it, it felt fine. The safety was well explained prior to going in; they provide hand held fans too. So it’s been much better than I expected 🙌 I can’t seem to read as I makes me feel sick & dizzy though. so I always take in my @apple phone + EARPODS. When pressurisation / depressurisation are complete (quite noisy!) I put my head back & close my eyes. Then i listen to great podcasts either on @bbcsounds, or on DOAC @steven which I love BTW! Thanks to @mia_challiner 🫶 Latest one I listened to was on DOAC with @davinamccall. Honestly it was so insightful and so interesting. Brain fog is bad this week. I am lost. Doing really weird things. It's frightening. Trying to focus on working out and art to keep me here. Keep me present. Keep me safe. Vaihdevuodet? Wtf?!? ​ ​Mitä sinä tiedät vaihdevuosista? Minä nostan ihan suosiolla käteni pystyyn ja tunnustan, että kuusi vuotta sitten tietoni vaihdevuosista oli tasolla - ei enää kuukautisia, huh, ei tule ikävä 😆 ​ ​Ensimmäisen sytostaatin jälkeen kuukautiseni loppuivat kuin seinään. Sitten alkoivat erilaiset oireet, jotka luulin liittyvän sytostaatteihin. Ne jatkuivat sädehoidon ajan ja pahenivat. Kehoni tuntui vieraalta. Vanhan naisen keholta 👵🏻 ​ ​🥵 Ennen syöpää minulla ei ollut ollut tarvetta laihduttaa. Sitten yht’äkkiä painoa alkoi kertymään, erityisesti vatsan seudulle. Mielestäni en elintavoissa muuttanut mitään ja silti paino nousi. Painon lisäksi myös sytostaattien aikana alkaneiden kuumien aaltojen määrä lisääntyi. Nivelet olivat kankeita ja kipeitä. Aivot eivät toimineet niin kuin ennen. Minua väsytti. ​ ​En ollut ollenkaan ymmärtänyt miten kokonaisvaltaisesti vaihdevuodet vaikuttavat naisen elämään. Jos syöpähoidot ovat keholle ja psyykkeelle todella kova rasite, niin kyllä ovat myös vuosikausia jatkuvat vaihdevuodetkin. Minulle on tarjottu oireisiin masennuslääkettä, mutta sitä en vielä tässä lähes kuuden vuoden aikana ole ottanut. Mutta - nyt harkitsen, koska öiset kuumat aallot ovat taas pahentuneet ja kaikki, joilla on unen kanssa haasteita, ymmärtävät syyn. Masennuslääkkeen funktio tässä tapauksessa on siis pienenä annoksena otettuna sen vaikutus juuri kuumiin aaltoihin. Toinen vaihtoehto on vähän aikaa markkinoilla ollut hormoniton lääke, fetsolinetantti. Tästä ei saa kelakorvausta ja yhden kuukauden lääkkeet maksavat 80€. Liikunta, ruokavalio, mindfulness - näistä en nyt ole pelastusta öihin, ikävä kyllä., mutta ilman niitä en halua edes ajatella, minkälaista elämäAivan ensiksi menen kuitenkin maanantaina verikokeisiin varmistamaan veriarvoni. Muutoinkin on ihan hyvä veriarvot kerran vuodessa tsekata lääkityksen vuoksi. Julkisella puolella niitä ei tehdä, mutta onneksi nykyään yksityisellä puolella verikokeisiin pääsee ilman lähetettä. ​ ​🤔 Oletko sinä kokenut samaa liittyen vaihdevuosiin - oireet tulevat ja menevät aalloittain? Doesn't it really all come down to energy? Most of us either need more or want more. But on a smaller scale it all comes down to energy as well. Our cells, tissues, organs and body systems each have their own frequency. Each emotion, pathogen, toxin, food, hormone and nutrient also have their own frequency that can leave an energetic imprint. And by measuring this energy we can get a sense of the health of the body and what individual factors may be affecting it. From here we can also use the frequency of remedies with the body to see if they are in resonance for improving our health. If we come from an understanding that the body always knows and is innately intelligent it is a beautiful way to truly work with the body. It really doesn’t get much more bio individual or holistic than that!
