a very eventful afternoon spent in the garden 🌞 feeling very grateful for having the energy to spend most of the day pottering outside today! i didn’t get many photos but i pulled up the spring onions - they weren’t fully ready but i wanted the planter clear for my yellow courgettes instead 🥒 i also harvested some salad and potted on a bunch of things too 🥗 as i was planting up cucumbers in my greenhouse, a moth fell out or off of the plant pot and into the soil, it climbed on my hand and then wouldn’t get off no matter how much i tried, i realised it had just hatched and was drying its wings 🪽 so i spent a long time in the sun with it on my hand and eventually it left once fully dried 🦋

Када се тесто дуплира овлаш га премесите и ставите у калуп. Пече се на 220 степени 15 до 20 минута у зависности од рерне. Ово што видите одозго је слани фил. Врло лако се спрема. 2 дл киселог млека умутите са 2 кашике сенфа, 2 кашике мајонеза и прстохватом соли. Додајте 2 млада црна лука сецкана, додајте ситно сецкани или пасирани бели лук 1 чен, 5 капи сусамовог уља, четвртину кашичице карија, 3 ситно нарендана кувана јајета. In recent posts and over time I often speak of using left overs and finding a way to use up as much of the debris of a normal cook, as I can. Minimal wastage is a basic principle I like to follow. To make a chicken dish, I had to trim the pieces for uniformity. I then proceeded to chop up those pieces and poach it with lemon & freeze it for future use. A few days later I found myself with left over rice. So I turned the whole thing into a soup - the rice, the poached chicken, the last of a carrot, lots of lemon, garlic, chicken stock and eggs, to make this Greek inspired one pot meal known as Avgolemono. The imbalance of colour bothers me, but I have to say it worked wonderfully and made for some soul satisfying eating.
