These ribs were too cute to eat….. almost Hubby came across a Chinese spareribs recipe and we gave it a whirl! I trimmed the ribs of any extra fat before marinating. In a bowl I mixed: Hoisin sauce- 1/3 cup Soy sauce- 1/4 cup Ketchup- two tablespoons Honey- two tablespoons Fresh Garlic- 3 cloves minced Ginger- sprinkled liberally Black pepper Cinnamon- approx teaspoon I mixed well and then tasted before tinkering with adding more. I wound up adding a little more soy and little more honey. Just add what you need until it suits your tastes! I marinated covered in my fridge in foil lined pan for three hours. Bake uncovered at 325 degrees approx 40 minutes. I basted the ribs every ten minutes. Then put the broiler on before taking them out and letting rest. If you like to parboil your ribs, you can do that before marinating as well!!
