Olive oil use associated with lower risk of dying from dementia. An observational study examined two groups of U.S. health professionals and found that consuming at least a half tablespoon of olive oil every day was associated with a 28 percent lower risk of dying from dementia, as compared with those who never or rarely consumed olive oil. How is your sleep? When you wake, do you feel well rested and energized? This is how it should be! We all need 6-8 hours a night, for optimal functioning. But, even then, is your sleep deep, sound and restful? Bedtime habits can play into sleeping patterns. But so can life stresses and the accumulation of those in the body without the space to let it release. CST offers the body a space to process, release and let go. THE SCIENCE OF PAPER VS SCREEN READING: Paper produces more “attention” brain activity: A new study has shown that when reading from screens, children show brain activity patterns suggestive of daydreaming and inattentiveness. On the other hand, reading the same text on printed paper triggers brain activity involved in a higher levels of focus and improved attention.
