Οι γονείς του και ο αδερφός του ευχαριστούν θερμά για τις δωρεές όλους όσους κατέθεσαν, αντί στεφάνου, στο λογαριασμό 75629 του ΕΛΚΕ του Αριστοτελείου Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλονίκης, με σκοπό την εκπαιδευτική και ερευνητική αναβάθμιση του Τομέα Πυρηνικής Φυσικής και Φυσικής Στοιχειωδών Σωματίων, στη μνήμη του Γιώργου. Συγκεντρώθηκε το ποσό των 23.758,00€. She had a gentler side, one that built flower palaces in the root cracks of trees for the wild ones of these ancient lands, but then her feral would emerge again, dancing maenad-like, cackling, as we summoned the Puck of her own young days, green and stinking of dog fox musk. J’ai découvert Élise Costa via son podcast Fenêtre sur Cour, sur Arte Radio. Quand j’ai su qu’elle sortait un livre, j’ai immédiatement été tentée. 🎧 Tous les chroniqueurs judiciaires se sont déjà vu poser cette question : « Comment fais-tu pour dormir la nuit ? » Ce livre est une réponse. Quand la journaliste Élise Costa décide d’écrire sur le crime, son quotidien en est bouleversé. Sillonnant les palais de justice à travers la France, elle suit les affaires criminelles les plus médiatiques -la joggeuse de Bouloc, Troadec, Nordahl Lelandais- et celles qui font couler moins d’encre. Pour s’approcher à son tour de la vérité, elle s’attarde sur les détails et explore les rouages d’une justice aussi implacable que fascinante. Mais alors, avec la nuit vient le doute. J’ai adoré l’écriture de l’autrice, qui réussit à captiver son lecteur dès les premiers mots et nous emmène avec elle aisément. Ce que j’ai le plus apprécié, c’est l’humanité dont elle fait preuve. Plus qu’aux faits, elle s’attache aux détails et nous invite à nous questionner sur la part d’ombre qui se cache en chacun de nous. Pour autant, à aucun moment le récit ne devient voyeuriste : au contraire, l’autrice s’est clairement attachée à (re)donner de l’humanité aux victimes : elles ont un nom, un visage, une famille… Ce qui m’a marquée aussi, c’est la nuance dont elle fait preuve. Rien n’est jamais tout noir ou tout blanc, si souvent les meurtres détruisent des vies, il arrive que, parfois, ils sauvent des vies. Qui sont les véritables coupables dans ces cas-là ? Élise Costa, au travers du prisme du journalisme, explore les méandres de la nature humaine, dans toute sa complexité et ses contradictions et c’est fascinant, sans jamais devenir sinistre ou cynique. J’ai vraiment trouvé cet essai passionnant, très intéressant et surtout hyper accessible.
