I have struggled with anxiety, sleeping and chronic pain for most of my life but after I started to regularly meditate my mood has improved, I don’t need to take sleeping pills and my pain has lessen. Results don’t happen over night you have to stick to it and see if this is something that will help you too.

April is stress awareness month and I don't know about you but I'm definitely feeling the stress all around with all the uncertainty still going on in the world. With the tragedy of events in Ukraine, Covid numbers spiking again, global warming and the huge rise in the cost of living along with all the usual daily pressures of life, it can sometimes feel overwhelming. When we have had trauma in our past, we can experience stress more acutely than those who haven't. High levels of stress hormones coupled with an overactive amygdala (our threat detector), a shrunken hippocampus (provides the ability to overcome fear responses), and less active prefrontal cortex (the rational and executive thinking part of the brain) are all symptoms of PTSD and CPTSD, meaning that stress has a more adverse effect on those of us with trauma. So, you see, although these things are happening in the brain, they are direct responses from our nervous systems, which means that we need to keep the nervous system in a regulated state as much as possible, widening our window of tolerance (our ability to stay with our emotions and in the body) to stop stress from becoming too much. Stressful responses send us into a sympathetic response of fight/flight or a dorsal response of shut down or freeze. There is no 'positive mindset' strategy to overcome stress when we have had trauma, or find the world traumatising now, we need to address what is happening in the body and use resources such as breath awareness, moving our bodies gently or awareness of our senses exercises to down regulate the stress response. . . . . . #stress #stessrelief #stressawarenessmonth #positve #fightorflight #ptsd #cptsd #pots #chronicillnessawareness #fibro #eds #heds #fyp

Learning how to manage your energy system is a key for optimal health and success.         How aware of this concept are you, and do you ever do an energetic reset?  🤔      Today was a super abundant day of networking.   In person and on Zoom. Met a lot of great people! 🙏     However, about mid-day, I could feel the energetic overload...      So, I did an energetic reset. 💥      Feeling much better, refreshed, renewed, I was able to finish the day strong.       Newsflash! We take on other peoples energy all day long. Online and offfline.       And it's evident in your wellness- physically and mentally, so it should not be ignored.        This is a key concept that is weaved into working with me, especially in conversations about relationships, stress, anxiety, health, and Ahai 7D Energy.        I have it as a topic for both of my private group calls, but in different scenarios. Scale and Manifest Your Dreams (links in IG Highlights).     What can you do now?    1. Start with awareness and understanding how you feel on a "normal" basis vs. the overload.    2. Have the ability to take a break and not feel guilty. (Remember the airplane mask tip? ✈️)    3. Change it up/reset, a few ideas: close your eyes, take a nap, meditate, take a walk, listen to some Hz music.     Once you start to do this work and have conscious awareness around it (without guilt), you will not only feel better, but look healthier too. 🥰      🤍💫🤍       Meantime, are you aware of energy vampires?
