This cute little kitten surprisingly joined our family last week and simultaneously sent me on my own little self-healing journey this past weekend. Animals often inspire things within us. I have always been drawn to animals. Especially cats! 😉 However, I was also the little girl who caught lizards and toads without flinching. I devoured books about animals and even watched National Geographic animal shows for fun. 🤣 I didn’t see myself working energetically with animals as it is very different and I love helping people. However, I learned that animal reiki isn’t just for animals and the energy can be used for humans too. Especially our inner children (Hello, Partswork!), or for those who experienced trauma in childhood. Children also benefit from this type of energy too. It is very gentle. Well, now I am a level I and II Animal Reiki Practitioner and I love it. (I am currently using it often to help my cats with the stress and adjust to each other) I would love to help your animals too! My sessions will include the caretaker and the animal. It is hugely beneficial if you are given a bit of Reiki before I work on your dearly loved fur baby! 💗 These sessions can be done distantly or in-person. You can choose to pay either $25 or $35 for an Animal Reiki session with me. The session will go as long as your animal tolerates.

Whole Foods, along with exercise and meditation, help keep our IMMUNITY strong! If we don’t feed our bodies properly how can we expect it to work properly? If you put water in your car instead of gas, you’re going to have problems! Our bodies are like a car, we need to give it the correct fuel in order to function at an optimal level. You may have heard of ELDERBERRY syrup. I’ve given it to my daughter when she was young. Guess what? You can make your own syrup, and use it as a remedy, make a jam, pie, or sweet cocktail! The possibilities are endless! Just be sure to boil your ELDERBERRIES for 30 minutes, they do contain a toxin before cooking. You can get them frozen, which is ideal. Fruit that has been frozen doesn’t have much time to break down, therefore it contains more of the powerful nutrients we need. As with any produce, the longer the transport, the less nutrients it contains. Look for local organic produce as much as possible. Frozen is the next best thing! Happy experimenting! 2 years ago today, I climbed Snowdon. I can’t believe this was 2 years ago… as I sit here and reminisce, I think of the joy at the top, and the immense pain on the way down. The tears at the bottom when I realised I had achieved something amazing. We sometimes think the the climb is the hard part in life, when it’s the coming down that can be crippling. You can see the finish, you know it will end, but every step is hard. Some things are worth the pain, to get that release at the end. This was my release. This is where I realised we hold so much in, and we need to let it all go! Otherwise we hold onto it, we bury it, and it makes life harder to walk through. Keep pushing.
