For someone who has been silently working with cacao for over 4 years, Wednesday was my first experience co facilitating a new moon / cacao ceremony. I have had uncountable amounts of ceremonies with her at least 3-5 times a week for long periods of time! 🌑🌿 My approach to working with cacao is not to sit in a circle and drink hot chocolate…. It’s working with a sacred, ancient medicine to dive deep into your body, heart & spirit wisdom. Guided into deep journeys of the temple within, a space for you to connect with any emotional wounds, trauma imprints & programmes. There are so many ways we can work with her, feel and connect to the mother. Cacao is a heart expensive medicine that allows the feminine spirit to activate within us, to show us our own gentle mother / grandmother energy by her being that space holder within us. For me, preparation & opening space is one of the most important aspects of ceremony. The intention behind it, where are we going & what do we call on this spirit for? When I prepare my cacao it is also a ceremony between me and her 🌷 When space is opening I love to pass on wisdom & knowledge about cacao, as it’s so important to raise awareness and respect for all plant medicines. That it’s vital for others to have deep connect with her on a physical, emotional, spiritual and intellect level. Being conscious of the journey from the moment of seeding to the end of digestion. This journey that has naturally unfolded from so much personal healing has unpacked into such a beautiful place of being in service with and for her.
