I remember how skeptical I was before my first shamanic journey 6 years ago. I ended up being blown away by its power. So much information was revealed to me. Some metaphor, some literal. I definitely had another activation last night. Releasing a lot. Feeling much better in my skin. The PTSD symptoms from years of trauma, abuse, disease, systematic thinking extrinsically wrapped within our beings are seeming to fade. As hard as it was to speak to my ex about our codependent, narcissistic, empathic, unfaithful, non-committal relationship, it was very healing. Allowing us to let go of karmic patterns that had been in our family lines for a long time. Everyone had said I made excuses for him all these years... but Just like my parents I can see what traumas and patterns have made someone the way they are. I can see when their souls are fighting against it. In a empathic, narcissistic and/or codependent relationship both parties gain and take energetically in an unhealthy way. We also need to know when to let go of someone if we are no longer growing with them. Sometimes its difficult for people to be around my energy bc it allows them to face their own "demons"... I see now thats why many people have shut me up in the past or attempted to and then I began to do the same to myself, giving my power away. I also am learning discernment and trying not to state everything I see...bc I see a lot. I Love you all so much and I am so grateful to be here when many days I didn't think I would make it. You all are amazing...keep healing!

I've been looking through many states for a four leaf clover over the past two months. I've spent many hours sitting on the ground picking through bunches of covers hoping to be blessed with some Celtic luck. Mothers come in all forms and relationship styles, whether it be a mother figure in your life, a biological mum, an aunt or maybe a god parent. Whatever this looks like in your life, I hope you’ve had someone to hurry to in those moments you’ve needed it most.
GATEKEEPERS In the world of shamanism a gatekeeper is a spirit that stands between your experience and energy that might unbalance you. For example, should you be journeying and come across energy that seeks to harm, the gatekeeper will prevent that energy from affecting you at all. Imagine if someone is sending you very negative vibes that could potentially cause an attack on your energy field - the gatekeeper prevents you from receiving that attack. A good example is - when I meet with dark entities in the process of freeing a client from their destructive energy, I am never harmed nor affected in any way. The entities cannot affect me, and that causes them to disperse, leave the client's energy field, and go underground to I guess you could say hell. The word hell conjurs up a lot of questions from people - it always does. The question that is most common is: surely there is no such place? Absolutely - there is no such place as hell. There is no such place as heaven either, but both heaven and hell are concepts that humanity has conjured up to explain the polar frequencies of love and fear, or love and hate you could say. Even those things themselves - love and hate, are concepts that describe our awareness of polar frequencies. We talk about LOVE being what the idea of God is...it is the closest concept we have to describe the creative source of life itself. So fear, or evil, is the opposite - it is a concept we use to describe the opposite of life - the destructive force. Because the shaman knows THE TWO ROADS - the two polar frequencies of the source of life itself, the Gatekeeper then is a balancer of sorts - its job is to keep the positive and negative flows in balance - to keep the masculine and feminine in balance, to keep the spirit and body in balance, to keep light and darkness in balance. Having said that then the gatekeeper will always allow through negative frequencies if it is for the highest well-being of the shaman, but without the shaman being overwhelmed or completely destroyed - too much destructive energy and not enough balancing creative energy that is. Offerings Sometimes, there is no time for long meditations, trance journeys, or long rituals. Last week was another where I had barely time alone (mostly in the car), but there is always time for an offering. I use my kitchen altar a lot for this. It's convenient because I am often in the kitchen, and in my home, it's the hearth, the place where "home" begins. The shot of whiskey is for a beloved person who passed away. At the funeral, I asked Hermes to guide his soul safely to the right place. The peony is for Aphrodite, who blessed me with so much love in my life. The vase with plants I collected here and there is for the spirits of the home. For peaceful coexistence. Life can be fast, but the spirits are with us. If we open our lives and our homes to them, it will be a rewarding experience. I repeatedly say how much I dislike the terminology "working with spirits/deities."
