I’M REBRANDING! (part one) I’ve been weaving together movement and wellness offerings under the name Luminous Architecture for 7 years. I gave birth to Luminous Architecture back in 2016 when I began to delve deeper into exploring different paths of holistic movement training, health, and wellness. Throughout my mid to late 20’s, I let my hunger for acquiring knowledge through experiential learning steer my studies, and I learned A LOT, much of which either informed or was integrated into my offerings. The name Luminous Architecture was a beautiful container for that phase of my work, but I’ve felt less resonance with it over the last couple of years. When I become pregnant, I knew I would want to rebrand after turning the page from Maiden to Mother. During pregnancy, I was in a very liminal space, and all of my creative power was channeled towards weaving flesh and bone within my womb. I sensed it was best to wait, and meet who I would become on the Otherside of giving birth before taking on the very big decision of changing my life work’s name and direction. When I gave birth to my son, I also gave birth to myself as a Mother. Over the weeks and months to follow, I ebbed and flowed, unraveled and re-spun, molded and melted into the woman I am today; the woman who finally feels ready to answer the crystal clear calling of shifting my work’s focus to supporting women through the seasons of their lives. Throughout my 20’s, I was so hesitant to “niche out” and in retrospect, I’m really glad I kept painting broader brush strokes despite so many people telling me to find my niche. I spent my 20’s doing just that - discovering what I was most passionate about when it came to my holistic movement and wellness work. Turns out, it’s helping other women move well and remember their wild nature. From this realization and my own rebirth through the initiation into Motherhood, Move Well Wild was born.

Half of WWW went international for the past week in the spectacular land of Rarotonga. Aside from the magnificent snorkeling, swimming and beach fun, we walked the across island track up to Te Rua Manga (aka the needle) which is 413 meters above sea level and a pretty cool little hike. It goes from one side of the island, through the mountains and jungle and comes out on the other side at a waterfall which was full of local kids swimming. The heat is quite something while hiking, it adds an extra element to uphill tracks when you're boiling under the humidity, but swimming afterwards in the ocean is the best feeling.
