For Tuesday’s card pull for the Collective, I turned to an uncharacteristically harsh (for Oracle) deck and chose The Dark Goddess Oracle. I love this deck for its often brutal honesty and harsh truths when I need to hear them. Today’s card is Gaia, and she represents creation. This card is a reminder that even in the middle of life’s chaos and turmoil, when havoc and madness seem to be throwing the full weight of themselves at you, to not get caught in life’s “trauma and drama”. Don’t take care of all the things and people and ignore yourself! Gaia is a goddess of manifestation but offers a reminder to be careful what we ask for - as everything we think, say, feel, and do, can end up being what we bring into our lives! She reminds us that we have the power to change, create, and destroy what is in our lives. I’d say the Sunday card for the Collective is super late but then again, a wizard is never late, or early. He arrives precisely when he means to. And so the same is for today’s card, which for fun, comes to us from the Disney Villains tarot deck. The message for this Sunday evening is quite timely as well, as we approach another week of busyness and work and tasks and chores. The Ten of Wands is an excellent reminder that we tend to want to carry the weight of the world on our shoulders, so as not to burden anyone else. We think we can carry it all alone. We forget that we can, and should, ask for help. This deck in particular notes that “even villains have henchmen to help carry out their plans”. The Ten of Wands reminds us that burdens can become lighter when we learn to delegate, prioritize, and seek support. It's not about carrying it all alone, but finding balance in the journey. Detachment, is the most painful and yet the highest act of unconditional love. Detachment hurts, it hurts a lot, it hurts because you have to let go of what you love, let it go or that we believe, that pain is mental; it is not pain, it is suffering, what makes us suffer is the fear fueled by the ego, by the rooted belief of the possible loss of a possession that doesn’t exist, that isn’t real. Since we can not possess someone who isn’t ours, who never was and who never will be. We do not own our parents, or our friends, or our partner, we don’t even own our children, they are free and independent beings, with their own path to go, just like us, so we should not undermine each other’s joy. If you’re not happy by yourself, you won’t be happy with anyone else. Attachment is the controller of all time, the one that anchors you in an absent present. However detachment keeps you in the here and now, is letting the other go knowing no matter what. And yes, maybe that “hurts us a lot,” because until now they only taught us that we were someone but we had all kinds of possessions, they forgot to tell us that the more we possess, the more slaves we become. This is why I firmly believe that affective independence is the greatest gift you can give yourself and your loved ones, and when you achieve it, then and only then can you shout out to the universe that you have finally achieved true and complete freedom. Once you start moving towards detachment there is no going back. Detachment is detaching myself from things with ease, knowing that nothing comes out of my life if it is not replaced by something better, and that generates abundance. I sense I am being guided on the right path, my path. Fully trusting the frequency, the energy, my intuition. Sure the past six months I may have struggled financially in the 3D, though my feelings within was unlike no other where I have been before. Letting go of what no longer served me. I felt great, unfazed by the situation. In a state of flow, allowing everything to unfold the way it did. Had I quantum jumped? What was meant for will not pass me by. The old versions of me, would not have handled this, perhaps they may have given in. But this is the beauty of life. The road we travel, the trails and tribulations.
