Played some pretty good games these last few months. One was FF7 Rebirth: One of the most flawed gems I’ve ever played and sincerely loved. Any negative I have for it is easily drowned by amazing characters and fun, rewarding gameplay/quests. I have some reservations on the ending, the biggest being that if Square Enix doesn’t nail the third and final game in the remake trilogy than my thoughts on this game’s ending are gonna turn pretty negative. Still, I have hope. The other was Stellar Blade, a cool Korean hack-and-slash based in Dark Souls-like gameplay loops. This one was also good. It has the Asian sensitivity of having very beautiful characters doing very cool things to very cool music. "En caul birth" is term for a baby born inside the amniotic sac. It is a rare occurrence in birthing in today's system of around 1 in 80,000 births. Why so rare today? Today the normalised practice is to break the waters to make the process faster, however many midwifes who don't do this report a larger percent of around 10 percent of their births to be inside the sac. The amniotic sac, also known as the caul, is a fluid-filled sac that surrounds and protects the developing fetus during pregnancy and if birthed inside the sac it is said to also protect the baby cushioning the baby during labor while also allowing the baby to move freely to get into position for the birth. The fore-waters are also said to support the dilation of the cervix by bulging through and opening the cervix into the vagina and bulging out of the vagina before breaking. En caul births are considered a unique and special event, often associated with various cultural beliefs and symbolic meanings. Vor ein paar Tagen bin ich seit Jahren mal wieder vom Pferd gestürzt. Nicht etwa nur einmal, ich habs gleich zweimal hintereinander geschafft. So richtig und mit allem was dazu gehört, im Regen, auf den harten Asphaltboden, alleine und an meinem ersten Blutungstag. Zurück im Stall sagt jemand zu mir, es sei bewundernswert dass ich nicht wütend bin auf dieses Pferd. Die Aussage hat mich berührt, denn ich wäre es vor ein paar Jahren tatsächlich auch gewesen. Und die meisten würden es sein. Geschweige denn ein Mensch würde einem "so behandeln". Und ich glaube dass passiert weil in diesem Moment eine schmerzhafte Geschichte in uns berührt wird, und wir glauben der andere tut uns das an, anstatt uns bewusst zu sein, dass es nur berührt werden kann weil es in uns ist. Und um es nicht fühlen zu müssen, schieben wir es auf ein Gegenüber und weg ist es. Scheinbar jedenfalls. Ich habe beim nach Hause laufen auch überlegt wütend zu werden, mehr auf mich als auf das Pferd, vielleicht auch auf alles ein bisschen... Stattdessen versuchte ich in der Liebe zu bleiben und fragte Gott nach dem was er mir damit hat zeigen wollen. Und in diesem Moment wendete sich alles, ein Geschenk nach dem anderen wurde sichtbar, so viele Teachings, auf so vielen Ebenen. Wie immer wenn wir nur auf die Idee kommen danach zu fragen. Currently underway and in the thick of it. 🌊 The waves are rough, the storm is heavy. So why do we feel as if it’s all in shambles? 😓 It’s not. The frantic feeling of pain and anguish is coming to the surface to be healed. All that is happening are the past hurts (this goes far, FAR beyond this lifetime- so no need to point fingers!) These are all surfacing whether we like it or not. The Masculine is doing the ground work. He is anchoring in the Feminine and holding space while the Feminine alchemizes and transmutes all of the old stories. The past hurts, the parasitic toxic ideas of what once was. That isn’t who we are family. We are more and it is being removed. The Masculine sets the work in motion as he anchors them both in pulls, bringing out and touches the wounds. This is not intentional to hurt but a blessing fully. He stands firm in his entirety allowing the Feminine to shine in hers. The Feminine pours out the old and turns it into gold. She transforms darkness into light as a blessing fully for newness and rebirth. Together in tandem the sun and the moon together work bringing darkness to light. Fear into hope. As the waves shape the rocks, the glass the sea of life, so is life shaping us. The waters may feel rough but the Masculine knows his Feminine and the dance is blessed. Right now breathe deep. Drink lots of water, get sunlight and rest like the moon. Rebirth is occurring and Union is reality. Accept that these wounds are healing. We are made new. Old stories are being rewritten. My mom who I love and respect very much called me “closed minded” today for only believing in the Bible. The irony of that, is it’s open mindedness that BROUGHT ME HERE. It’s my ability to humble myself to a point that brings me to my knees, so that I may be open enough to entertain beliefs that go against, and challenge things (merely everything really) -I have believed firmly I might add, my whole life. It’s my open mindedness that allowed me to seek out my triggers towards religion, towards man, towards God, and dig deep into where those came from and ask the important question of “IS THIS TRUE?”. It was my open mindedness that allowed me to see a different perspective, to hear with new ears, to think with a new mind, and to feel with a new heart. This is as open minded as it gets. And anyone, including my momma knows that is how I have always been. So then what is it really that triggers people with believing God’s word is the one and only truth? Welp, it challenges their reality, their perception and their beliefs. And I’ve noticed the more convicted I am the more triggered they are. But more specifically what it means when they hear that, is there is no individual“truths” there is only one. And this really, really upsets people. Have y’all seen everyone’s “truths” running around out in the world today? Umm it’s a chaotic sh**show of “truths” that everyone thinks they hold. It’s gotten pretty outta hand and most isn’t truth at all. It’s delusion. It’s selfish. It’s ignorant. It’s SELF SERVING. Everyone out there trying to be their own god. And a lot of what’s happening is just plain wrong. People WANT their own truth to make all their other stories and beliefs in their life true. That reaffirmation of their perception-no matter how distorted brings them comfort. And if by learning there is only one truth- it merely destroys the foundation from which they have relied upon. But that’s just it. His Word IS THE ONLY FOUNDATION that is strong enough to build your life, your character, your heart, your soul and mind on. He is the way, he is the life and he is the ONLY truth.

My 3rd home birth was incredibly transformative It was everything, it wasn’t just the good, it was also gut wrenching, torturous and nerve wracking ✨ Simultaneously exhilarating, euphoric, & authentically spiritual I called it the spiritual olympics The birth pool was like the boxing ring with me vs myself Every page in my spiritual book was visited without a doubt- If an approach stopped working I moved on to the next thing And yes that includes surrender & letting go! Eventually I just had to stand up and get out of the pool. This baby was not coming in water or conventionally I had to BE the fierce Goddess herself Go where I needed to go Roar as if riding into battle. I was tested to the point needed- Invoking doubt, the negative mind, wanting to give up, questioning my intentions. Of course, that’s right before the baby comes.. In life I’m never pushed to such an extreme Digging past the deepest I would go To find out what I’m truly made of. The chord was wrapped around 3x From what I understand that gave less way and elongated the time of active labor What’s great is, there is a part of me that understood the assignment. Doing what I needed to do and going where I needed to go. When you stand up and say “I’ve had enough” From this experience I can tell you It’s sacred thing to even have the opportunity to do so 🙏🏼 I’ve found birth to be a peak experience🏔️ The heroine’s journey- conception as the start, birth as the peak of the mountain, postpartum as the valley #homebirth #rebirth
