The two best mama pups I know, but I’m biased since they happen to be mine 😏🥰 🌸Posey came to me at 9 months pregnant and despite being a puppy herself, was the best mama ever to her 9 babies; always so loving and put them before herself. She made the most beautiful and sweetest pups ever 🥹 Posey lived outside 24/7, was underfed, neglected, never received vet care, and now is living her best spoiled life, sharing my bed and snacks with no worries. 🖤Onyx was adopted from the city shelter after being found as a stray. Through DNA testing I found out she’s a Dutch Shepherd that had been used for backyard breeding most her life, was treated horribly, underfed, and also lived outside 24/7. She ran away from that facility and I’m so grateful she got away and is free from that life. She helped Posey so much in helping watch after the puppies and adopted them as her own. 🥰 She’s also now living her best spoiled life and like Posey, will never be bred again. Well we tried to wish momma Avery a happy mother’s day but she had other words for us. 🤬 It’s apparent she does not like us and wants us to go away. She’s just being a protective momma and we’ve dealt with her kind before. Once she is separated from her babies, she’ll mellow out. We don’t take the lunging and hissing personally. She’s been through a lot. She came to us with 3 out of her 6 babies. The other 3 were never found. 😓 Who knows what she had to endure. It’s ok. We have received SOOOO MANY donations for our Estate and Yard sale that our storage areas are almost full. Because we have limited space in our storage areas (and we’re still getting calls to pick up more), next weekend March 1-2, 2024, we will host a PRE-SALE. It works this way— On Thursday and Friday, pictures of items and their prices will be posted on our Facebook page. On Saturday, you’ll be able to purchase any of the items you see through our PayPal link. The items will be marked sold once they’ve been selected. You will need to email us at [email protected] with your name and contact information. We will text to verify your purchase. On Sunday, our volunteers will meet with you at Merced Mini Storage between 10 am - 1 pm, so that you can collect your item(s). If you are paying with cash, you can pay when you pick items up. We were angered, shocked and devastated to learn yesterday that one of our community cats had been shot and paralyzed by an uncaring, inhumane and evil person. Due to this person's vicious and horrendous act, Verdin #341 was compassionately euthanized to end his suffering and returned to his caretaker, Christina (who loved him very much), for burial. Animal cruelty is a felony. The Preventing Animal Cruelty and Torture Act, makes intentional acts of cruelty to animals federal crimes carrying penalties of up to seven years in prison.
