Η Στέλλα Παντελή γεννήθηκε στην κοινότητα του Δενδροποτάμου της Θεσσαλονίκης τη δεκαετία του ’70. Δεν γνώρισε ποτέ τον πατέρα της, αλλά η σχέση που δημιούργησε με τη μητέρα της έμελλε να καθορίσει τον τρόπο με τον οποίο η ίδια θα ανέθρεφε τα δικά της παιδιά. Η σχέση αυτή καθόρισε και την επαφή της με το σχολείο, αφού η μητέρα της δεν την αποχωριζόταν ποτέ. Έτσι, η Στέλλα διέκοψε το σχολείο στη Β' δημοτικού. Το γεγονός αυτό γρήγορα την έκανε να καταλάβει πως μόνο μέσα από τη γνώση ο άνθρωπος βρίσκει δύναμη. Έτσι, όχι μόνο στάθηκε ακλόνητο στήριγμα χρόνια αργότερα στην εκπαιδευτική διαδρομή των τριών παιδιών της, αλλά κατάφερε να φοιτήσει η ίδια σε Σχολείο Δεύτερης Ευκαιρίας. Κατάφερε και πολλά ακόμα που αναπόφευκτα μας κάνουν να της βγάζουμε το καπέλο και να μοιραζόμαστε σήμερα μαζί σου την ιστορία της. As a result, he invested in their education, sending them to the finest schools, and instilled in us, the values of discipline and resilience. His unwavering belief in the potential of his daughters was revolutionary. In a society were the power of the female child was underestimated, he recognised the innate strength and capability of the girls, long before it became fashionable to do so.He wasn't just ahead of his time; he was a trailblazer, reshaping the narrative of daughters in Wakirike Se and of course, Rivers State. While boys may have been expected to take the spotlight, he understood that leadership was gender neutral. For him, " a woman's education must never end in the kitchen". He encouraged us to be brilliant and stylish, and to embrace all aspects of ourselves including the ability to cook well like our mum.
