Want to lose more weight this month? Here's 5 Hacks to get it done. 1. Sleep I know I know, seems so simple and you may have heard this one before, but have you really actually tried improving your sleep? I mean like really tried? Question: when you're super tired is it easier or harder to accomplish whatever it is you're trying to do? Harder, right? Put simply, the better your sleep is and more rested you are the easier it will be to make wise decisions based around your weight loss efforts. Do not overlook the importance of this. 2. Protein Most diets try taking food out of your normal life. I prefer to allow you to eat whatever you want and instead of removing foods, let's try adding in food. In this case let's try adding in more protein. If you can eat in general around 30 to 40 g of protein per meal for three meals each day, your daily cravings will likely go down (Of course this can change depending on each individual and is where coaching can help). Put simply, protein is the most important nutrient for weight loss. 3. Write down everything you eat Multiple studies have shown that the simple act of writing down what you eat and drink everyday results in participants losing a significant amount of weight. Put simply, writing it down causes you to think for a moment before actually consuming something - and that little space often results in consuming less. 4. Visualization Mentally rehearse in your head how You think, feel, act around food. Do this over and over again in your head and you'll find you start acting like it in the real world. 5. Eat when hungry and stop at enough Put simply, learn the skills how to eat a proper amount of food and limit over consumption. Try these five things this month and you will start losing more weight. Unpopular opinion incoming 👀🫣 Just because your family are overweight and unhealthy, being overweight yourself doesn’t have to be your reality! 

And it doesn’t make fat loss or fitness harder for you AS AN ADULT 

Because here’s the truth… 
YOUR journey is YOURS, not your mums, not your dads, not your sisters… 

It’s ok to need help and to struggle with food and fitness because of the habits that have been modelled to you during your childhood BUT don’t let that stop you before you even start. I grew up in a household that rarely had fresh fruit and our veggies consisted of potato, carrot and peas. 
The same household that didn’t prioritise exercise. 

Many members of my family were and still are overweight. 

My upbringing taught me what I didn’t WANT as an adult I didn’t want to be fat, with no energy and spend my time trying to hide my body with loose and baggy clothes, because that felt easier than changing my ways…

I wanted to feel healthy, have energy to do the things I love, run around with my little girl without being puffed. 
I wanted to be a role model for my daughter, teach her the importance of looking after yourself from a young age. 

So I did just that, and I am the gal to help you do the same!

alories count, but you don’t have to count them.⁠ ⁠ People who say that calories are irrelevant for fat loss, are, well…..wrong. ⁠ ⁠ You can’t deny the existence of calories, they’re a unit of measurement - it would be like saying you don’t believe in inches.⁠ ⁠ And calorie / energy balance is the key to fat loss.⁠ ⁠ But just because calories count, does not mean you have to count them.⁠ ⁠ Counting calorie is not for everyone, and I don’t want anyone to be tracking on MFP for their whole lives.⁠ ⁠ I believe tracking for a few months can be vital to becoming more aware about what is in certain foods, and how they’re composed nutritionally. ⁠ But once that awareness has been built, you can consume a healthy diet without tracking everything. ⁠ ⁠ A good place to start is by eating 3x meals a day, and one healthy snack. ⁠ ⁠ Build meals with a lean protein source, veggies, and a carb source using the recommended serving suggestion.⁠ ⁠ Snack on foods that are high in protein / fibre / nutrients.⁠ Keep a food diary. ⁠ After a week or so, take some sort of progress measurement - scales, photos, body stats - and see what has changed. ⁠ Then you can tweak things if necessary for eg if you’ve lost a lot of weight and are hungry, then add in another snack. ⁠ ⁠ There is no one set way for every person to eat.⁠ Everyone is different. ⁠ As a coach I will never force anyone into a set way of eating.⁠ Cos that’s just plain wrong.

Meet Ben.. 3 weeks ago he came to me wanting to drop some body fat But also wanted to build some muscle He had some training experience but never really had a proper plan Going into the gym and just going through the motions Fast forward 3 weeks and the photos speak for themselves 🔥 Looking absolutely jacked already 💪🏻 Ben’s transformation in 8 weeks is going to be wild! Your smallest self doesn’t equal your happiest 🤷🏼‍♀️✨ When I first started my weight loss journey all I wanted was to be smaller. To weigh less was literally my only goal and once I did it, in my mind I thought I’d be happy. After losing 4 stone I realised that weight loss wasn’t the key to a happy life. I still had insecurity’s and things I disliked about myself. Without accepting them and learning to embrace them I couldn’t genuinely love myself. Cutting down for my photo shoot took me to the lightest weight I’ve ever been. It took a dedication which I am proud of myself for completing. But when I look back at the pictures now I don’t feel like I was happy at all. If you showed those pictures to Mia post partum, she 100% would have said that was the body of her dreams. But after being in that body and experiencing it, I know full well it isn’t the body for me. Right now I’ve gained weight back we are 8 months post photo shoot and I’m feeling the best I’ve ever felt. Man like Nicky 😮‍💨 He’s finished his fat loss phase ✅ and looking unreal 🔥 Dropping 16kg & 15cm off his waist! WEIGHTLOSS WITH WATER . Did you know that one of the problems why we cannot lose extra weight is because of misinterpreting one signal for two sensations? . We experience hunger and thirst sensations are in the same area of our brain. When we mistakenly interpret the sensation of thirst as the urge to eat, we eat food even when our body actually needs water. . To satisfy brain need for energy, water is more efficient. With food we can generate energy for brain only from sugar. When we eat instead of drinking, only about 20% of the energy generated goes to brain, but 80% goes to other organs that store sugar in the form of fat. Over time this can lead to unwanted weight gain. . So next time when you get a strong urge to eat something, why don’t you try to have a glass of water first, to see what your body really needs. . .
