⭐️ Te voy a contar lo que me enseñó la vida hoy. ⭐️ Te quiero contar que hoy después de haber entrado a una reunión presencial y haber saludado a todos, me sacaron. ⭐️Me dijeron que no estaba invitada por el anfitrión y que no me podía quedar. ⭐️Me sentí pequeñita y triste, cómo cuando invitan a todo el curso a la piñata y a ti te dejan por fuera. ⭐️Así que sin hacer mayor escándalo dije “ok, no hay problema” y me retiré. ⭐️La siguiente hora no pude hacer más que scrollear en mi celular. ⭐️Mi cabeza se sumió de inmediato en la víctima y cada minuto que pasaba me sentía peor y peor. ⭐️Hasta que dije “No Más” y recordé que nada de lo que pasa, así lo parezca, va de mí o es en contra de mi. ⭐️Respire profundo y recordé: “No tienes el control de lo que hacen los demás, solo tienes el control de cómo te dejas afectar por eso”. ⭐️Mi estado de ánimo cambió casi de inmediato. Todo lo que pasó, pasó. Control is a word (and action) best avoided, as it only causes suppression or oppression. Last week was wild but these 3 pics were some awesome moments. We had 2 sparring sessions at the park, there’s nothing like sparring outside and in the grass! On Saturday, a huge group of athletes attended STICK FIGHTING BOOT CAMP where they learned how to spar with padded sticks! ❤️ Sparring is one of my favorite things to teach kids because it’s scary at first and fun in the end. I use it to teach them how to set boundaries with their partners and show assertiveness. Eating disorders are behavioral conditions characterized by severe and persistent disturbance in eating behaviors and associated distressing thoughts and emotions. They can be very serious conditions affecting physical, psychological and social function. Types of eating disorders include anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, avoidant restrictive food intake disorder, other specified feeding and eating disorder, pica and rumination disorder. Taken together, eating disorders affect up to 5% of the population, most often develop in adolescence and young adulthood. Several, especially anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa are more common in women, but they can all occur at any age and affect any gender. If I don't express my difficult emotions in a healthy way when they get too intense, they stay stuck in my body and (in my case) often turn into a migraine.
