Wholewheat spaghetti & meatballs using lovely steak mince from @astles_butchers I added oregano, onion powder, grated nutmeg & dried garlic to the mince & made the meatballs & cooked off for a little colour & put them to one side. In the same pan I fried off chopped onion, celery, carrot & garlic & once cooked off I added 2 cans of @muttipomodorouk plum tomatoes, oregano, grated nutmeg salt & pepper & 2tblsp of tomato puree with water (rinsing out the tomato can) put the lid on & let the tomato sauce gently cook for about 50 minutes Then put the meatballs in to finish cooking, served with 80g ofwholewheat spaghetti & a good grating of parmigiano ๐Ÿ I made garlic bread with a part baked sourdough baguette, mainly for the others, but I did have a piece. The restraint! 6 ways to lose fat without tracking a single calorie 1. Eat protein with each meal. Not only will you benefit from getting fitter youโ€™ll be burning calories and getting fresh air all at once. Donโ€™t over look just walking around the block 4. Lift weights 2-5x a week. Lifting weights will help maintain or build muscle depending on your goal. The more muscle you have the more calories your body burns at rest. DO YOU STRUGGLE TO HIT YOUR DAILY CALORIE GOAL? Girls don't worry if you can't hit your calories daily but try your best, if you hit your set target everyday and at the end of the week or 2 weeks you have no movement then you will know its not a deficit for you.๐Ÿคฏ If your eating less than your set calorie target for example it's 1600 and you eat 1300 daily then you won't know if you can lose weight at 1600 calories and you always want to be eating as many as you can whilst losing!๐Ÿ’ฏ Prioritize hitting your protein goals daily. This will keep you feeling fuller for longer and help with fat loss as it's harder to digest. If, for example, your goal is 1600 calories each day, but you're going for a meal or a few drinks, then you can save them, but don't make this a habit. Monday to Friday, you can eat 1400 calories, saving 200 calories per day You will have saved 1000 calories Mon-Fri Saturday and Sunday, you can add 500 calories to each day Saturday 1600+500=2100 Same on sunday It's like banking your calories to allow takeaways or alcohol ๐Ÿ˜‰. I was 2kgs heavier than โ€˜normalโ€™ when I weighed myself this morning! ๐Ÿ˜ฎ Thatโ€™s 2 whole kgs heavier than last Friday!?!?! But guess what, I didnโ€™t spiral into a panic. While some times I just want to forget completely about my pregnancy losses, I have been through so much and Iโ€™m so proud of myself for learning to cope in a different way than just eating my feelings. I also had to take a step back and ask myself is this the kind of relationship I want with food and exercise my whole life?
