Wholewheat spaghetti & meatballs using lovely steak mince from @astles_butchers I added oregano, onion powder, grated nutmeg & dried garlic to the mince & made the meatballs & cooked off for a little colour & put them to one side. In the same pan I fried off chopped onion, celery, carrot & garlic & once cooked off I added 2 cans of @muttipomodorouk plum tomatoes, oregano, grated nutmeg salt & pepper & 2tblsp of tomato puree with water (rinsing out the tomato can) put the lid on & let the tomato sauce gently cook for about 50 minutes Then put the meatballs in to finish cooking, served with 80g ofwholewheat spaghetti & a good grating of parmigiano ๐ I made garlic bread with a part baked sourdough baguette, mainly for the others, but I did have a piece. While some times I just want to forget completely about my pregnancy losses, I have been through so much and Iโm so proud of myself for learning to cope in a different way than just eating my feelings. I also had to take a step back and ask myself is this the kind of relationship I want with food and exercise my whole life? I've gained so much weight within the last year ๐คฆ๐ผโโ๏ธ there's a lot of things that I can blame my emotional/bored eating on but I won't... My highest weight for 2024, according to my Drs scale, was 281 pounds. That was back in March. A 13 pound loss so far, I'd say we're heading in the right direction.
