"Skradziona tożsamość" trafia na pozycję nr 1, a zarazem 5/5⭐ w maju. Jest to 1 część serii Spadkobierca (Ja chcę już 2 tom‼️). . Holly, bliźniaczka Mili umiera, ktoś zabił ją na oczach siostry. Miała jednak pewne zobowiązanie, którego podjęła się Nasza główna bohaterka. Nie spodziewała się jednak, że Holly skrywała wiele sekretów, a w jeden z nich wplątała się na własne życzenie. . Trzeba przyznać, że Monika Magoska-Suchar bardzo dobrze się przygotowała do napisania tej książki. Pięknie opisana jest kultura japońska. Najbardziej zafascynowało mnie pojęcie i postać Yakuzy (szef wszystkich szefów japońskiej mafii), uprzedzam nie googlujcie tej nazwy, ponieważ oczekiwałam postaci takiej jak opisała autorka, postawnego mężczyzny, ubranego na czarno (coś w stylu włoskiego mafiozo), jednak ujrzałam kogoś zupełnie innego (googlujecie na własne ryzyko 🤣). . Historia Mili i Shina jest pełna emocji, namiętności i pasji. Reseña de un libro que me encantó ✨ Hola thinglovers! Hoy les traigo la reseña de un libro que si vieron mis historias saben que me voló la cabeza. Muerte en el Nilo es un caso del grandísimo Hércules Poirot. 🕵️ Linnet Ridgeway es una mujer que siempre consigue lo que quiere. En espera de heredar una inmensa fortuna se embarcara en un viaje por el Nilo. Pero lo que esperaba que fueran unas vacaciones inolvidables se convierten en un tormento dado que de alguna manera, la mayoría de los pasajeros del barco son sus enemigos. Pero el rencor que le guardan ¿es lo suficientemente fuerte para que alguno de ellos quiera asesinarla? Para su fortuna el reconocido detective Poirot se encuentra a bordo, y Linnet le transmite sus inquietudes. ¿Podrá ayudarla antes de que sea demasiado tarde? 📖 Hace mucho vengo leyendo a esta autora, he leído libros que me han encantado y otros que aunque no han estado mal no se me hicieron tan entretenidos. Pero este sin dudas pasa a ser mi favorito. Para empezar los personajes de Agatha suelen parecerme un poco vacíos, como si solo fueran una etiqueta(la secretaria, el político, el doctor, la artista) y se que es difícil conectar con un personaje en 200 paginas, cuando la mayoría de sus obras tienen de 5 a 8 personajes. Así que no suelo esperar mucho y tampoco es algo que me haga querer menos sus libros. Por eso Muerte en el Nilo me sorprendió, los personajes se sienten reales y además siento que se ve una pequeña evolución en algunos de ellos al final del libro. ☕ Aunque sin dudas lo que más me gusto es el ritmo. En los primeros capítulos ya estaba completamente engachada, quería saber cuales iban a ser las consecuencias de una decisión que toma Linnet al principio de esta obra. Y asi me mantuvo expectante hasta el final. 🚢 Cuéntenme ¿Les gusta Agatha Christie? ¿Leyeron o leerían Muerte en el NIlo? Jak gdyby mieli w sobie taki magnetyzm, że ich pojawienie się natychmiast wywołuje ciąg strasznych, lecz niezaprzeczalnie ekscytujących, jakże zadziwiających wydarzeń. Nic zatem dziwnego, iż zaproszenie człowieka pokroju Herculesa Poirota – persony co prawda niewielkiej i nieco pysznej, ale również szalenie inteligentnej, kierującej się w życiu uczuciem i intuicją, widzącą rzeczy takimi, jakimi są, wyzbytymi upiększeń czy zbytecznego dramatyzmu – musiało wiązać się z zaistnieniem zbrodni… Być może gdyby gospodarz wiedział o tej zdolności swego belgijskiego gościa niezdolnego do ucieczki przed własnym przeznaczeniem, zrezygnowałby z wyprawienia przyjęcia w pięknym domostwie: Kruczym Gnieździe usytuowanym tuż przy mieniącym się tysiącem odcieni niebieskiego morzu. Cóż, zważywszy na aktorskie przyzwyczajenia emerytowanego właściciela urokliwego zakątka, bardziej pewne jest to, iż mając ową świadomość, tym chętniej zdecydowałby się urządzić jakże krwawą kolację. ‘’Uważam, że wydarzenia przychodzą do ludzi, nie ludzie do wydarzeń. Ok y’all, @rileynashbooks has done it again! And by “it” I mean completely shattered my soul and had me crying like an undignified snot goblin on the couch, and like I’m not even mad about it. 📚 REVIEW 📚 Book - The Woman in Me Author - Britney Spears Genre - Memoir Rating- 3⭐️ Format - Audiobook I wouldn't say i was a massive Britney fan in my youth, but she was very well known, to say the least. I saw a lot of hype about this book, and nosey me had to jump on the bandwagon. The journey this woman has gone through and the constant struggles, I can't imagine how tough it was for her. This book brought a little insight into their struggles, and I did feel for her! The book, however, even with a ghost writer, felt all over the show. It was messy and didn't make sense at times. My rating doesn't reflect the atrocities that Spears went through. It is solely on the book and the way it has been written. Whilst I felt emotional for Britney throughout this book, by the end, I didn't feel that she opened up wholly and let the readers see who she really is. The Senators Wife – Liv Constantine Star rating - 3.2 What I liked: Multiple POV Lots of red herring’s Strong female characters Unique twist on a classic thriller What I disliked: Slow burn thrillers aren’t for me Ending This book had a lot of things to love about it. It was super hard to nail down suspects while reading it. That being said, this book felt like a slow burn, and I prefer my thrillers to be faster paced. The writing choices were good, and it was easy to read. Overall, I do recommend this book if you’re looking for a 300-page classic whodunit. Przeczytałam Przez ciebie i ona mi się podoba, ale nie w tak ogromnym stopniu jak pierwszy tom tej serii, mam wrażenie że w tej postaci nie są tak złożone jak były tam, jasne Artemis i Claudia też są wyraźni ale ich problemy czy złożoność nie jest tak mocna i silna jak w przypadku poprzedniej pary, podobnie jak chemia jest dobra i wyrazista ale nie spalającą i iskrząca, chociaż należy pochwalić autorkę że umiejętnie rozwijała te relacje, pozwalała jej ewoluować, podobna rzecz tyczy się bohaterów i to nie tylko tych z pierwszego planu, autorka prowadzi to wszystko w sposób przemyślany. Ta książka jest też znacznie prostsza w fabule, ale to akurat plus bo pozwala się odstresować po ciężkim dniu i naprawdę dobrze spędzić czas, bo czyta się ją naprawdę szybko, potrafi umiejętnie zaangażować, chociaż tak jak mówię fabularnie nie powala. W książce znajdziemy miłość, nadzieję ale także rozczarowanie, złość, zawiedzenie, trudne relacje rodzinne, postępowanie wbrew sobie, ale i walkę. On Tuesday morning my mother in love went into surgery for a big health scare, and on Tuesday evening our ceiling caved in. Yep you read that right, and if you swipe you can see the damage firsthand 🫣 plus some glimpses into our survival mode 😅 AS WE WERE GOING TO BED AND NOT FIVE MINUTES AFTER WE HAD LEFT THE ROOM, we heard a noise like a tornado coming through the house. We were devastated in that moment, but over the next 48 hours our village showed up for us fiercely, and slowly but surely our perspective began to shift. We are safe. We have all the help in the world. We have places to stay while we wait for construction. We now know there’s a problem and can fix it before anyone has a chance to get hurt!! There are a gazillion silver linings I could share. Y’all, I’m so grateful that I’m sipping coffee in my garage, reflecting on these memories. Because I could be in hospital with heaps of fiberglass in my lungs and eyes. Don’t get me wrong, it’s definitely hard and scary and overwhelming as heck, but PERSPECTIVE AND PERSEVERANCE have been my life rafts this week. The next few days will be construction central, so you’ll find me holed up in the garage or in the sunshine putting a dent in my reading goal! “Hastings,” with its slow-burn, forced proximity, “mine” romance, and just the right amount of spice, combined with Hurt/Comfort/Healing, and set against a musical backdrop, is the perfect book for a contemporary romance lover and a must-add to your TBR! From the beginning, the chemistry and banter between the main characters pulled me in. The FMC’s strength and the MMC’s complexity added depth, while the supporting cast complemented the main characters seamlessly. @brittanywynnebooks’ writing is SO good; she blends romance with real-life challenges, allowing you to connect with the characters, and she keeps the story fast-paced but gives you the details needed to get lost in the world she’s written. Overall, this was such a fun read that had me giggling and kicking my feet, emotional, unable to turn the page fast enough, and it also left me wanting to sip a cosmo (iykyk)! The Girl from Widow Hills - Megan Miranda Star rating – 4.1 This book does not skimp on entertainment! This is my first Megan Miranda book, and I will absolutely be going out to buy more of this authors work. Fast-paced and masterfully weaved together is how I would describe it. Öncelikle şunu söyleyeyim: Ben tasvir, betimleme okumayı çok severim. Doğa tasvirlerini de sevmekle beraber, karakterlerin dış görünüş, hâl, hareket, tavır, mimik ve ruh dünyalarına dair ayrıntılı betimleme okumayı daha çok severim. Benim için bu durum, film ya da dizi seyrederken, oyunculuk izlemek gibi bir şeydir. Jane EYRE'de muazzam bakış ve göz teması tasvirleri okudum. Bu kitabın filmi de var ve tahminimce, dünyanın en iyisi de dahil, hiçbir oyuncu, rolüyle bu bakış tasvirlerinin hakkını verememiştir. Sırf bu yüzden, filmini izlemek istemiyorum. Avis Lecture n°15 : Hockey Player Tome 3 Lorenzo de @eloisemichaels Service Presse reçu de @bodfrance J'avais tellement hâte de lire se livre, car j'avais beaucoup aimé les deux précédents tomes et surtout Colin. J'ai bien aimé ma lecture, les pages on défilé très vite et je l'ai lu rapidement. Je crois que Lorenzo était mon chouchou des 3 mais la fin de se livre à tout casser pour moi. La romance est très belle, Lorenzo et Chrystal sont ultra attachant. J'ai énormément aimé Chrystal, une jeune femme ronde complexée, que sa famille dévalorise à chaque instant. Il n'y aurais pas eu cette fin le coup de cœur aurait était là. Moi je suis une véritable fleur bleue du coup j'ai était totalement déstabiliser car je m'y attendais vraiment pas. Par contre la saga et ce dernier tome valent vraiment la peine d'être lu ce sont de jolies romances écrites avec une plume douce et fluide. J'ai adorée découvrir la plume de l'auteure et je continuerai de lire ses prochains livres. Gracias al cielo fue mejorando muchísimo conforme avanzaba la trama. 🎬Me encantó que no tan solo fuera un libro de romance si no que también tratara el tema del duelo que muchas veces no es mencionado en los libros y que de hecho todos tenemos un tiempo para que no duela con la misma intensidad. 💕La relación de Wes y Liz me encantó y desde el principio te das cuenta que él está loco por ella y que haría todo por verla feliz incluso si no es con él. 🎬Por otro lado Liz necesita un telescopio para que se dé cuenta de las cosas, porque muchas de ellas las ve como si fuera una niña. En cuanto a los personajes secundarios no se puede decir mucho ya que el foco está sobre la protagonista demasiado en mi opinión, me hubiera gustado más desarrollo de ellos o quizá más aporte a la trama en futuros libros. 📖Por otro lado decirles que me encantó como se fue desarrollando la historia, nos van mostrando que no es más de lo mismo, que tienes que verlo con otros ojos porque va más allá de lo que puedes ver en la superficie.
