💧KING OF SLOTH REVIEW💧 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 This was honestly such a fun read! I loved the banter and chemistry between Xavier and Sloane. Most of all, I love the way Ana displays grief in two very different ways in Xavier and Sloane. Xavier, who’s all sunshines and good times, had a really complex reaction to his father’s illness and passing. The anger and the laughter and numbness all seemed so realistic for his character. Sloane’s grief was so unexpectedly calm yet empty, my heart began to ache for her. King of Sloth: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Books from Ana Huang are usually a consistent 4 stars for me! I always enjoy the character banter and growth that’s explored. I have yet to come across one of her books that tops Twisted Games for me .. I think it’s the only one from her that I’ve rated 5 stars! J’ai enfin terminé cette saga que je tenais absolument à découvrir après le succès qu’elle a connu. Sans hésiter, le quatrième tome est mon préféré ; j’ai VRAIMENT BEAUCOUP TROP AIMÉ ma lecture. Dans ce dernier tome, nous rencontrons Stella, une influenceuse qui aspire à atteindre le million d’abonnés. Pour y parvenir, elle doit trouver un faux petit ami afin de partager des stories sur ses réseaux sociaux. C’est alors que Christian, son propriétaire éperdument amoureux d’elle depuis leur première rencontre, lui propose d’endosser ce rôle. J’ai vraiment beaucoup apprécié ce tome, notamment le personnage masculin, dépeint comme un homme prêt à mettre à feu et à sang le monde pour protéger Stella. Il est très charismatique, influent, extrêmement riche, et se montre très possessif et jaloux (tout ce qu’on aime, hihi 🤭) Malgré mon engouement pour ce tome, j’ai relevé quelques incohérences, dont une en particulier m’a vraiment dérangée. Stella s’interdit toute relation amoureuse sans que l’on comprenne vraiment pourquoi elle a écarté les hommes de sa vie. Pourtant elle laisse Christian s’intégrer assez aisément dans son quotidien. Ensuite, comme dans chaque tome, je trouve que les scènes de smut sont vraiment gênantes… À part cela, les deux personnages partagent une alchimie à vous couper le souffle. Il y a tellement de tension entre eux du début jusqu’à la fin. Slow burn, faux couple, amour interdit : comment ne pas être conquise ? Me encanta como se va plasmando poco a poco todo el contexto, como va creciendo el afecto de uno hacia él otro y por dios la tensión y la química de estos dos?? DEMASIADO PARA MI!!!🥵 🦋La autora escribe de una manera que te hace estar pegada al libro 24/7 e incluso en aquellos momentos que no pasa gran cosa te atrapan. 🦋Christian es lo mejor del libro, osea a sus pies con cada cosa que decía jaja😏 🦋Stella, en los otros libros no me parecía un personaje que tuviera mucho que contar y me he quedado de piedra con el trasfondo de su vida, su historia, no me lo esperaba para nada 🦋El único pero que le pondría es que la trama de suspense que mantiene todo el libro, no la han resuelto de la mejor manera, te mantiene intrigada y luego lo cierran de una manera muy rápida y sin sentido. 🦋Las últimas páginas me costó leerlo pero porque no quería terminarme el libro, el final fue entrañable y bonito, me dejó el corazón llenito!! ~~~Creo en todo cuando se refiere a ti. Je trouve qu'il ne mérite définitivement pas tout l'engouement qu'il y a eu autour de ce bouquin. Le personnage de Ava est, d'après moi, très fade. Je n'ai pas du tout accroché ou ressenti une quelconque émotion si ce n'est de la pitié. Alex... Euh... Les personnes qui le veulent comme bookboyfriend, je vais créer une cagnotte pour vous payer des thérapies, parce que c'est pas possible. Il est INSUPPORTABLE ! Un amassé de clichés concentré en une seule personne. C'est littéralement impossible de s'attacher à lui, même par rapport à son passé. J'aime bien les grumpy et sunshine, mais le grump là était extrême, presque irréaliste. It showed the honest impulse reactions people have to stressful situations and points out just how okay it is to react that way instead of shaming it.
