Pulled 34lbs off @adamguestt in 10 weeks who wanted to get in shape for a holiday. Unreal progress in such a short space of time. 15 WEEKS DIET ☑️ So impressed with Julie’s work ethic over the past 15 weeks. We’ve been working together since last year. We initially ran a health phase post show to restore some flexibility with food & bring everything into a good spot. Then Julie wanted to run a diet phase for her holiday this month, so we did. 15 weeks ✔️ 15lbs ⬇️ lovely rate of loss 1lb a week & once we got things kicked off the whole diet was nice & linear thanks to Julie’s consistency. A week out from the holiday & cardio has been pulled from 5x weekly to 3, food set to increase a touch next week as I like to send clients on holiday a little fresher & fuller so they don’t go away tired & hungry 😁 The hard work is done now so we back off & look forward to the holiday! 🌞

8 WEEKS ✔️ Brilliant start here from Shelley. 8 weeks, 4.5kg pulled off, tan acquired, holiday mode starts TODAY 😎 Shelley is an insanely busy gal, often working late into the nights to meet work deadlines with no prior warning, yet somehow she always manages to box off sessions, steps, cardio, & get in her meals. She has absolutely impressed me with this first 8 weeks. The first plan was to be feeling a little better for going on holiday today, & when she returns, we have a photoshoot to work towards. You don’t need to restrict today or this week, I know it’s what you’ve been told and it’s now what you believe you need to do. But when you restrict your food intake after a “heavier food weekend” these two things happen: 💜 You are telling yourself you did something bad, so you are punishing yourself 💜 You are making yourself hungrier than you already are These don’t help you reach your long-term goals because by punishing yourself, you are not showing yourself compassion, and self-compassion is vital for long-term success. And you are telling yourself that you did bad behaviour, which isn’t true, just because you enjoyed yourself a bit more one weekend doesn’t mean you are bad and the action itself is not bad either, yes it may slow down your weight loss if that's the goal, but it’s not “ruined” it and you deserve to have fun and enjoy your life. If you are dieting in any way, shape, or form, you will have put yourself in a calorie deficit, which means you will already be slightly hungrier, so if you restrict your calories even more, then you are allowing room to be even hungrier which doesn’t help with your adherence and will most likely result in overeating. 🍠 🎃 Butternut squash & sweet potato soup 🎃 🍠 Doesn’t look like the sun is coming out anytime soon, so I’ve dragged my soup maker out from the back of the cupboard and made this super easy syn free soup for lunch. To make throw the following ingredients together in a soup maker 🍠 1 chopped butternut squash 🍠 1 chopped sweet potato 🍠 1 chopped onion 🍠 4 whole garlic cloves 🍠 mixed herbs (lots) 🍠 veg stock to not quite cover the veg Alternatively use the ingredients in a pan and blend with a stick blender or food processor once soft. I had todays with 2 Iceland salt & chilli chicken skewers (1/2 syn each) which I heated through in the airfrier for 12 mins from frozen. Just over 2 weeks until I’m back in 🇹🇷 with @aimee___ 😍 & giving @trainedbydp a rest from me 😂 Lots of clients are heading off on their hols too, so here are a few tips to help you stay on track: 1. **Prioritize healthy options**: Take advantage of the variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, and lean protein available at all-inclusive resorts. Fill your plate with these nutritious options to keep your diet balanced. 2. **Practice portion control**: While it may be tempting to indulge in unlimited buffet offerings, try to be mindful of your portions. Use smaller plates, and avoid going back for seconds unless you’re truly hungry. 3. **Stay hydrated**: Drink plenty of water throughout the day to stay hydrated and help control your appetite. Sometimes thirst can be mistaken for hunger, so keep a water bottle handy and sip on it regularly. 4. **Limit alcohol consumption**: Alcoholic drinks can be high in calories. If you choose to drink, opt for lower-calorie options like light beer or spirits with low calorie mixers, and enjoy them in moderation. 5. **Stay active**: Take advantage of any fitness facilities or activities offered at the resort to help offset any extra calories you may consume. As it gets warmer lots of people will be looking forward to their holidays! However some of us may not be feeling "summer ready" and this can be a common time for people to crash diet just before their holidays. Crash dieting leads to your weight yo-yoing up and down and can be detrimental to your health if you are eating too restrictively and cutting your calorie intake too steeply. Holiday recap ✨️ 1. Sunset di bukit Merese. Makin tinggi bukit yang didaki, makin bagus pemandangan yang bisa dilihat. 2. Ngopi sambil ngedit konten di bandara karena nunggu delay 4 jam. Lumayan lah jadi 1 meskipun capek juga nunggunya 😂 3. Sampai lokasi langsung cari makan malem. Dapet ayam taliwang enak! Dan baru tau, ternyata ayamnya emang kecil, jadi 1 porsi itu 1 ayam. 4. Karena masih masa puasa, jadi breakfast di hotel diambilin sepaket. Gak ngira, ternyata yg dtg banyakk. Rotinya auto bungkus deh buat 2x snack time 😌 5. Akhirnya cobain gnocchi pakai mushroom sauce! Udah lama banget pingin nyobain grgr liat masterchef. 6. Sempetin ngegym mumpung ada fasilitasnya di hotel. Cmn 1x aja, sisanya makan jalan2. 7. Abis snorkling makan di pinggir pantai, dimasakin sama nelayan di sana. Nikmat makanannya, nikmat juga pengalamannya 🥹 Udah puas liburan dan makan2, bsk Senin saatnya back on track pelan2! 11/4/24 Posting a day late, I'm away for the weekend so enjoying myself! On-plan meals, but off plan syns🙈 ✨️Brunch - bacon, scrambled egg, which turned out more like a soufflé as of blitzed some left over cottage cheese with 0%yoghurt, cumin and chilli powder, along with carrots and tomatoes for speed ✨️Dinner - savoury rice, chicken, red peppers topped with the cortage cheese sauce, & grated cheese (HexA, fajita style as that's what everyone was having but I didn't fancy the wrap) and lambs lettuce (my fav), tomatoes and cucumber for speed ✨️Snacks - apple, easternmost, reeves egg, some Cadbury mini egg chocolate (didn't weigh), some salt and vinegar twirls and a fruit peeler which I bought for the kids but love them. I’ve got a holiday coming up, help! 🏖️ The holidays are fast approaching When my client came to me she had no routine, Hadn’t been the gym for a few years Ate what she wanted. She had wanted some sort of gym routine for a while but had no knowledge of what to do or where to start Starting off small was key here 🔑 She was really nervous to start and how to use the equipment Putting in guidance in this area quickly solved this problem She now accepts progression in her stride Going from 0-100 is never going to work Being 1% better than last time is going to build up confidence so much quicker ✅ Giving her the structure she needed to effectively and efficiently get her training done 🏋🏽 Working through nutrition and advice where she needs it, making sure she is fuelling herself properly 🥙 Her first holiday was coming up and she knew the progress may have been minimal by this time But just look at what she has done in that time! 🤯 Safe to say her confidence has sky rocketed 🚀 Im excited to see her progress over the next few months! Ok guys, a bit of advice. When to Weigh? My normal day is a Wednesday but I'm going away for a few days next week.. Do I..... A) Weigh in a day early B) Weigh in on the same day but at silly o clock before I set off C) Do it the day I get back (this will also check the damage) D) Skip a week E) Weigh in before I go and when I get back Me being me is likely to go with option E. We're going to be in Spain for a few days. Food will be at the hotel for breakfast and buffet dinner or on days out which are likely to be fast food. I've seen the buffet food and there's plenty of healthy options but when push comes to shove, will I really go for that? There will be lots of walking around so I will be active and part of me thinks "I'm on holiday. Forget about cals for a few days you'll probably walk it off." The other part of me thinks "This has to be a new lifestyle. I've worked hard the last couple of weeks, don't fall at the first hurdle" I'm hoping to find that bit in between the two where I can enjoy myself without thinking too much about calories but also find that self control to know when to reign it in. #weighinthoughts #whentoweigh #weightloss #weightlossjourney #weightlossandholidays #holidaydiet

So it’s a been a while , nearly 5 years actually , but I’m back on the Slimming World Wagon and need to shift some timber . Since making this account when I had just had my youngest daughter I have actually been able to maintain and stay pretty much the same weight give or take a couple of lbs , but the last maybe 7/8 months or so my weight has crept up and I need to do something about it before it sticks and it’s harder to shift This photo is last week , we were just about to leave to go on holiday to Disneyland Paris. And I just feel gross !!!!! My takeaway addictions and lager drinking had taken its toll and my once comfy size 12 jeans are now snug , where I always had a flat belly that now is growing ( beer belly) and my face is just so rounded and has a mountain of chins. I have a cruise booked for the middle of May so I’m setting myself a target of 12lb then !
