So you all know I love my push-ups! Since my muscles were fresh after a gym session with no bench press on Monday, I took inspiration from @wendyistakingthelongwayhome and her spotless push-up form, so I decided to go out and work on my own. None of my sets was perfect but it’s just to keep doing the work. If you don’t go to a gym where there are mirrors, making videos of your workouts is really helpful to correct form! A weekly debrief 💪 I’m truly grateful to be able to do what I love doing and call it ‘work’ This weeks been insane insane inside the Alpha21 program. Behind the scenes we’ve been slowly expanding our coaching and fulfilment team with exciting plans for the year ahead. But once cleared came back & virtually picked up where he left off! We've worked with him on his re-entry to strength training and he hasn't looked back! 20 Kilos down and in the shape of his life…😱😱 Jordan originally came on board simply to optimise his energy and health and maximise his performance in business. He’s a young CEO of a recruitment business and has always had a passion for training but knew that he had more to give. Sometimes i procrastinate a lot before a workout, other times only a little!! Today was a lot of procrastination!! Sometimes when you least feel like doing a workout, those are the workouts that you end up completely smashing and enjoying. I absolutely loved my workout today. I was not motivated. But I needed to do it. Im feeling super strong after my session. I then followed it up with an hour and a half of bellringing! Today my workout consisted of.. #1...procrastination!!! (Lots of it) #2... bicep curls #3...BB overhead press #4...DB Bench press #5...KB single arm press..L&R #6 ..BB Bulgarian split squats (yuk!) #7 ..KB single leg hack squat L&R #8 ..Trap Bar lift. #9 .. 200 skips between rounds. 4 rounds Each round I went up in weight and down in reps. Summer is looming… The barbecues are close to being lit… The beaches are calling your name… And the Sun is about to bless us with it’s presence and give us longer and brighter days… For most of you this mean’s more holidays…

More outings… Now, the sad reality is that for a lot of Men, the Summer is a period in which their lack of confidence in their body effects them the most… It becomes far more impactful in daily life as they find themselves covering up in big jumpers even though the suns out… Or even avoiding taking their T-shirt off on holiday to swim with their kids or enjoy the beauty of the Sea. 12 Weeks out from the Alpha21 Summer photoshoot! 💪 It’s been years since I’ve properly prepped for anything like this and I have to say it’s harder than ever with balancing business and family! I can’t train 5x per week anymore! I can’t do endless cardio! I can’t do sky high step counts! I just don’t have the time! And my bandwidth is often spread thin across managing clients, family and managing my own health. Bulgarian split squat day 11 was after heavy leg day in the gym, so this was a struggle! My legs were exhausted after some heavy deadlifts earlier that afternoon.
