I don't feel "old" but could feel as I am getting older that my body is changing. I for sure wasn't feeling myself and knew I wanted to fix it ASAP!!! So my change was to really focus on not only my physical health,which has been important to me already, but also my mental and gut health. Being a woman in your mid 30s is expensive on a whole new level if you want to come across as well put together. I’ll speak from my own experience where from being super low maintenance that I never even needed to use moisturizer now I am layering myself with serums,oils and magic potions on my skin and hair that I never knew anyone ever needed 🤷♀️ I stayed at plenty of hostels during my travels in my 20s but now I need to have a nice cozy place with a comfy bed or else I’m just too sore to get on with the next day. There’s no crashing for a night anywhere in my day-long denims 😅 Even with food, I need to think about my upcoming plans before I decide to eat anything roadside. I’m always blabbing on about chasing the things that excite you in life…because I think it’s a freaking important piece to living a fulfilled life. my mid 30’s have been a season of life where I am just leaning in to all that feels good, and feel like I’m learning who I am all over again. the things currently exciting me in this season of life include: • the prioritizing sleep • finding new ways to enjoy moving my body • learning new recipes • organizing my apartment • being a photography enthusiast • uninterrupted coloring sessions • catching up on albums from my bands I discovered decades ago • epic road trip adventures • nights out that end by 10pm • cutting down my alcohol intake by 90% • not posting to instagram daily • making decisions more unapologetically honestly the list goes on and on and I feel like im adding to it daily. its like I get to constantly discover new things about myself, what I like, what I don’t like, what I’m capable of, what brings me joy, what makes me feel good, confident, fulfilled. but also what makes me feel bad, overwhelmed & misaligned. making space for re-discovering things that use to bring me joy that maybe got put on the back burner over the years. and just reminding myself that there is no rule book, I’m creating my path and if I can’t decide what flavor of banana bread I want to bake - I can bake both. because why fkn not?! throw the rule book out the window and figure out what feels good to YOU ✨ #motivational #inspiration #livingabroad #mid30s #30something #advice

Love the lighter hair and curls but , I look empty in my eyes . When I first came to my city , I went to bars to connect . And became one of the losers that is always there. It was fine to be a bar girl in my mid 20s , it’s more normal . Now I’m 34 and it got awkward. And uncomfortable. I became single , and realized it lowers my dating value to be at the bar like that . When I talk about value I am not talking about human being value , you’re worth a lot for being you. But it doesn’t mean you are attractive to men with how you act . #30s bar girls are unattractive. My brain works pragmatically . And with logic . One thing I’ve learned now that I’m in my #30s is that , all of our brains work differently. Sometimes you don’t align with someone for a relationship or friendship because your brains work differently, not because one is a better person that another. We all have mental health but not everyone has mental illness. I personally have OCD so this could play into why I work this way but , I own my differences now that I’m #mid30s I look at what people do not say . And find inconsistencies , and look there. That’s where the answers are. It’s difficult for me to associate deeply with people that operate in vibes or energy, because, it allows room for assumptions. A rule of life is: 1. Never assume 2. Ask questions. If you eliminate error , or room for error , you understand people better instead of assuming their state based on their vibe. Wie froh ich bin diese Fotos gemacht zu haben! Sie sind eine der schönsten Erinnerungen an den Bauch und die Schwangerschaft. Is it weird for anyone else to take selfies of themselves in their #30s and actually look like they are in their #mid30s ! I am embracing being this age because I’m way less of a mess than I was in my 20s! And have my #priorities right finally ! Took leaving a bad relationship, learning about myself outside of it. And , I sometimes try to give advice to the girl in her 20s but I don’t expect her to listen because I didn’t at that age! I was a “know it all” when I knew nothing ! My advice for the early 20s girl : 1. Live within your means , even if it means , not going out with friends . Don’t spend money on credit cards you can’t pay off immediately 2. Stay feminine . Men like that. And protect your peace , at all costs. If something horrible and traumatic happens it will be harder to find a husband ( I have my fair share of trauma) 3. Don’t get animals , you will give up when you find someone . Been there too. Where men didn’t want dogs but I liked them 4. Focus on BEING not LOOKING 5. Save money 6. Es ist immer mutig etwas neues zu machen, aber sich aus der Komfortzone zubewegen erfordert mehr Mut. Dingen vl eine zweite Chance zu geben, die einem nicht so leicht gefallen sind und man sie dann wieder aufgeben hat ist wirklich mutig. Ich glaube mit dem Alter kommt auch der Mut dazu bei etwas schlecht zu sein, es aber trotzdem zu tun. Ich glaube das ist eine ganz normale Entwicklung, die einfach Reife braucht. I am a #freckled faced girl ! I used to cover them up with full coverage foundation! I still cover up redness I have lightly on my face but , not the freckles ! I love them as I get into my #30s ! So much happens when you reach #mid30s ! You realize you look how you look. Robert - A Lovestory Ich möchte Robert nicht missen, er wischt und saugt die ganze Wohnung, eine enorme Erleichterung. Nur hat Mini leider eine andere Vorstellung, wie die Wohnung auszusehen hat. Liegt die Decke zusammengelegt auf der Couch, geht sie schnurstracks dort hin, zieht sie am Boden und geht wieder, gleiches mit Wäsche/Gewand jeder Art. Dinge wie ihr Rucksack und ihre Kappe, die in Reichweite hängen, dürfen nicht hängen, alles muss auf den Boden… keine Ahnung warum aber Mini liebt es wenn alles was sie in die Finger bekommt am Boden liegt… Wir lassen sie das aber ausleben und räumen nur Abends einmal auf oder wenn Robert seine arbeit verrichtet muss. Man sucht sich bekanntlich seine Kämpfe ja aus, das ist dann ein Kampf gegen Windmühlen, somit wird Mittags nicht mehr zusammengeräumt wenn Mini schläft. Die Zeit ist mir zu schade. Well, this is 37. What a year it’s been leading up to this! Y’all, 7 years ago I was ecstatic to turn 30. I always heard the 30s are the best. As I get older, I realize that every age is wonderful in its own way. I can’t eat like I could 10 years ago and it’s a lot harder to lose weight, but I am physically stronger than I have ever been. Each year I care less and less about trying to make everyone happy and worrying about who may not like me. I am more confident in who I am and have a circle of support around me that I am encouraged by. I worry less about the future and try to stay in the present. All of that to say, 37, I’m excited for you. The numbers 7 and 3 have been pretty meaningful in mine and Josh’s relationship, so I am hopeful this year will bring more good luck and joy. Ganz ehrlich WTF - Es passiert leider immer wieder und immer total plötzlich und unerwartet, man ist einfach nicht schnell genug um es abzuwenden. Mini stört es zum Glück nicht, sonst wär es noch 1000 mal schlimmer für mich - aber jedes Mal denk ich mir WTF und Warum??? Meist fehlen mir dann aber die Worte und es ist auch schon zu spät… Trotzdem hört auf fremden Kindern ins Gesicht zu greifen, bzw eigentlich überhaupt anzugreifen, wenn ein Kind und die Mutter die Interaktion suchen dann merkt man es klar - geht es vom Kind aus? My first birthday as a mamã 🐣 Rather surreal after yearning for this for so so long. Unlike so many people I know, I did not suffer through infertility - it’s just that the right timing took a while to come around. And still, most of my birthdays in the past few years were marred by the fear of ageing vs my chances of conceiving. Women in their late 20s and early 30s are bombarded with stats on decreasing rates of fertility, bombarded with ads for clinics and procedures - from egg freezing to homeopathic remedies. It’s relentless. It’s a racket. As much as I love and wanted to be a mother, I resent the unspoken pressure I felt around me. The rhetoric that equals motherhood with personal fulfilment, that sets motherhood not as a choice but as a milestone of adulthood. Often, inevitably, on this very website, through the blasted algorithm. 36 is my Ground Zero. The first year in a while that I have the space to reflect and to reimagine myself.
