𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝟐𝟎: -1800 - 2200 calories -No more medication -Normal Blood Pressure -Normal Levels -Hip pain reduced to 2/10 and can now deadlift 70kgs and started to do small amounts of running. Happy Mother’s Day! 💐and a vulnerability post warning! Being a mother is no easy feat, we wear the hats of many while being expected to hold it all together, while not get overwhelmed and to always end off with a smile! 🤪. I know this is something I’ve been struggling with this time around, being older I thought it would be much easier, but it has been extremely difficult. One area I’ve been struggling with was my weight loss after having my son. I have been trying many different weight loss programs, apps and food services, all without success for my current lifestyle. Finally 5 weeks ago I called @soligirl7 after watching her posts and success! BEST thing I have done for myself in a while! The evidence is in the photos. 4 weeks ago I picked my pre baby pair of jeans. Embarrassingly enough I couldn’t even pull them up 🫣. 4 weeks later they are up and buckled! In just 4 weeks I’m down 16 pounds and feeling much happier, more flexible and having much more patience for my son! My journey will continue but I want to see who else wants to come along! I went to buy some new running shoes. I always get the same brand. This would be my fifth pair in 5 years. I walked into the store thinking I'd just tell them what I need. The worker didn't ask what I wanted. Instead, she asked questions such as if I run or walk, how much, and how far. I thought I just needed another pair of the old brand because they always worked. But lately, they weren't. My husband got me a cheaper pair from a big store for Christmas. Turns out, they were walking shoes, not for running. So, obviously, those shoes weren't right for me. But my old habits made me think I'd get another pair anyway. The worker tested my feet and watched me walk. She was a pro at fitting shoes and a runner herself. She understood my situation. She brought out two brands, neither were the brand I had been wearing. I was unsure but tried them on. To my surprise, they were much comfier and supportive. She picked what's best for my body and life today. She personalized my shoe choices. When I went for a run this morning, it hit me. I was stuck in my old ways, thinking what I had was fine. I was settling, using info from 5 years ago. Our bodies change a lot in 5 years, no matter how old we are. If you're trying to fix health problems with cheap fixes and not working with an expert, you're settling for less in life and risking your health. I could've fallen and hurt myself badly or thought, "These shoes are new, they can't be wrong." You, your body, and your life deserve better. William Penn wrote this, and it's a beautiful reminder that kindness has power. I once had a rough week and canceled a plan with a friend. She still sensed I needed support, so she drove 90 minutes round trip in the middle of a workday to bring me a natural sleep remedy and check on me. This touched me deeply. A few years ago I had a difficult time sticking to healthy loving habits. 

I would over commit myself due to disempowering
beliefs living in my subconscious mind. 

I would start, achieve, stop and go back to old habits on repeat. 

I’d start my weight release journey. Release weight. Gain it all back. 

I’d start working out, do some classes and fall back. 

I’d say I was going to stop doing things
that didn’t serve me and kept going back. 

I’d treat myself and feel so guilty over it. 

Today, that’s no longer my reality. 

I recently released 27 pounds and have been happily keeping it off. 

I consistently workout because it feels so good to me now! 

I release things that don’t serve me. 

I love treating myself and can’t get enough. 

Here’s the thing...

When your inner world doesn’t match the reality you desire.

You’re going to have a difficult time following through. 

I learned to hate myself at a very young age. 

Over the past few years, I’ve been on my healing journey. 

Falling back in love with myself after battling low self-worth since I was a child. 

I’ve been in many programs, volunteered/staffed events, read the books, researched and studied this work for years now. 

However, I had to put a lot of pieces together on my own.  As someone that had gone through a lot of trauma. I was doing all the things and yet certain things weren’t clicking.  
The biggest knowledge comes from my own experiences.
